Heavies will probably give higher dps if you can get them on target fast. Sentries allow you to get dps asap, but tend to be a bit disposable as you're not likely to go back and pick them up.

vent is still going to be mandatory. People are very distrustful if they don't hear you speak also. You're going to be at a disadvantage unless you can find some speech to text software that works well with vent/ts.
