On your left, under the heading EVE INSIDER you will see Forums. Click it. Under that you will see Settings. Choose that. Choose the character you post with and VIOLA! You can insert a signature.

What sucks is that some cities here in the States have banned "canned air". I'm stationed in Colorado Springs right now and NONE of the computer shops I've been to are allowed to sell it. Arg.

In-game, on the left of the screen there are Icons. The second one down is People and Places. Open that up and do a search for the other character's name. When you see the character show up, right-click the portrait and choose GIVE MONEY. :)

Your avatar will be your character portrait. You'll just have to be patient for that... it could take some time to update. As for the Signatures.. you can either go into the off-top forum and request one, or wait for Crumplecorn to finish working...

^^ That's what I tend to do. If I'm awake at my computer, I learn the "quick" skills which take between 1-5 hours to learn. When it's time for bed, or I'm off to work, I turn on the really long skills.
