121. For all you linux gamers..its working!! Cedega press release and info - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Oveur's title is actually 'Producer', and Capsicum is a volunteer (not GM). I've personally had bad experiences in the past (yes, several years ago) with a linux distro, and I can't see myself investing the effort to try it out again any time soo...

124. Still Randomly CTD'ing all the time. Grrrrrr - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
If it's a CTD, check for .dmp files in your log folder that match up to the version and time. Submit those as bugreports and we have a much improved chance of finding the problem.

125. A concerning trend. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Karash Amerius Oveur, there is a new idea in the Ideas forum that is distanced based via travel. If a gate to gate warp is say 60au, then you would drop out 30km from the gate. However if you warp to a close planet or moon f...

127. A concerning trend. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Personal opinion: The idea of running backwards and forwards repeating a route or jump over and over and over and over and over does not give me a warm and tingly feeling, especially as it's going to mean that on 0.0 routes you find a nice uncampe...

Originally by: 000Hunter000 No offence, but does the fact u have to 'turn off a ton of things' before u can have larger battles sound silly to other people as well? We don't like having to switch stuff off on the client, the reason w...

133. The battle that I wish could happen in Eve. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Maybe, maybe not. Turn off damage messages, effects, turret effects, sound and trails and the client is quite capable of displaying a lot, and I've repeated the fact that I'll look again at the client in large battles once the new servers are in. ...

135. Describe Dream Job at CCP? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I have stuff on my defect list that can be fixed in a day, but it's also prioritised against features and other things on that list. The obvious recent example was drone icons (fixed internally, hopefully for the Bloodlines patch).

Originally by: Tachy So the fantastic blob warfare improvements shown at the fanfest didn't make it into RMR patch? They're in, but they don't help the server enough to deal with the general load at the moment.
