42. That "summer/winter time" thing is almost upon us again - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
No matter what you do, someone will invariably get confused and post a new thread to keep the one posted five minutes earlier company. Sun goes up, Sun goes down, and *that* at least, will probably never change.

43. How do you get a HUD like these ? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

44. Your knowledge will make you 2 bil richer - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I personally suspected a leak in video memory, but it being inconsistent between cards and the number of jumps to reproduce make that a bit dubious. I've also run my own tests and couldn't spot anything obvious and significant.

47. What was it like in the beginning? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Redundancy on 23/10/2006 13:55:40 I remember it as a time when people weren't so horrible to us on the forums at every opertunity. NB: Even if I can fully understand the current frustration with the servers etc.

Figure out what you enjoy most, specialise so you're reasonably good at it, and then diversify from there or specialise further. Eventually you'll end up diversifying anyway.

57. The map needs some lovin - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I don't think we're going to change the rules on a per-location basis - it'd make the concept of a comparative view a very strange one. The last change I put in scaled the blobs on a non-linear basis - I can always increase the power of that func...
