1941. I'm new when it comes to fighting and I would like some advice on using my Thorax... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Also, if you are using a Thorax, learn to use combat drones, especially heavy combat drones like the Berserker or Warp. Sic them on your target like a pack of hungry dogs. You probably won't even need to shoot anything after your lovely pets sati...

1943. The Punisher - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
We're talking missiles in the frigate "Punisher" context, Mister. Read the topic. Talk about missiles as a pure issue of itself elsewhere. _______________________________________________ "Is it me or the bad guys just getting totally pathetic?...

1944. I'm new when it comes to fighting and I would like some advice on using my Thorax... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Don't use all blasters. A short range only setup is a recipe for disaster. You want to survive, pick them off from long range, but keep some medium to shorter range fast tracking weapons if they get too close. ______________________________...

1946. The Punisher - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
LOL, a Kestrel can pump out 12 missiles---600 dmg---in 12 seconds from four A-3 launchers (the pirate launcher shoots a missile in five seconds.) Or four HEAVY missiles in an alpha strike. You keep using your smartbomb you will run out of ene...

1947. Missles....bang for buck? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
You're buying missiles too expensively. Depending on how you can shop, you can get missiles as low as 400 isk. If you got a production line of your own, even better. I use missiles to supplement a turret based attack. If you got four or five s...

I also have an Incursus, but with my experience on the Punisher as well, I would favor the Punisher. Why? Powergrid on the Incursus is a bit limited compared to the Punisher which is the best of the frigates. Even if you add caps and power bo...

1950. The Arbitrator - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I know a few arbitrators have been sold but generally this ship is not very popular. The lack of turret hardpoints (only two) is certainly a disadvantage against other cruisers who can mine with mining lasers on three, four or even five turrets ...

1952. The Punisher - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
By the way, no Rifter ever traveled at 300m/s. A Rifter requires level 3, and for each Minmatar frigate level, you get a 5% boost in speed. I do 400 m/s without any overdrive or afterburner. Minmatar level 4 and nav 4 puts me well above 450 m/s...

1953. The Punisher - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I own both the Rifter and the Punisher, not to mention the other contenders to the "best" frigate title: Merlin, Tristan, Kestrel, Incursus. Not to mention being an Amarr, the Punisher is the first frigate I got since moving up from a Tormentor. ...
