My talos does around 1300 DPS with around 50k buffer. I rather keep my battleships in station because the talos dps is enough and its by far more agile / faster then one of my megathrons (let-¦s talk about 'abc making other shipclasses obsolete).

We were used to have max. 10 drones on every droneship. Because of serverload it was reduced to 5 with a 100% bonus. So my guess is its a bad idea. Also we allready have a dominix and so on.

Got the Ody-EFT on the other pc, but as far as i remember: New arma with 5 Torp II + 2 BCU II + 5 heavy drones II got over 1000 DPS and still bringing a more then decent buffer tank (while bringing the 'mandatory' 2 large neuts).

I-¦d like to see a new drone type. Call it something like "Self armor repair drone". Will repair only a VERY SMALL (just a little bit more then tiny) amount of armor / cycle and only works at your own ship. But then again, you-¦d need to "waste" ...

Afaik the drake can use 5 light drones. If you real like drones take a look at the dominix or rattlesnake. Afaik rattlesnakes are a common sight on mission hubs.

I-¦d suggest to take a look into the blaster-moa (though you would have to get your hands on medium blaster skill first). Not sure about the fitting, probably meta 3 for cost-effectivness (read: cheapness).
