1. Arazu fittings - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Solo Arazu is probably bested by a solo Pilgrim as far as solo cloaky recons go, but if you're gonna do it, make the most of that scram range bonus. Fit a scrambler (faction if possible) and use your MWD to orbit around 16-20km depending on your ...

2. Nano sniper solo pvp fit - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Edited by: Thenoran on 24/02/2011 12:17:00 If by solo sniping you mean kiting the target around 20km with superior speed while keeping them pointed, a lot of ships can do this. A lot of them will require T2 weapons however in order to use Scor...

3. Ultimate Warriors: Myrm vs Vagabond - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
If the Myrm has a TD, it should win any 1v1 with a Vaga. If not it'll depend on the Myrm setup. If it has a lot of active tank and micros the drones it should be able to atleast scare the Vaga off. A plated fit with badly microed drones would pro...

4. Facts on making a unprobeable ship - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
I believe if (Signature Radius / Sensor Strength) <= 1.08, you'll be unprobeable by anyone, even if they have all skills to V and relevant implants. For 95% of scanners though you could probably do with a slightly higher number (assuming no im...

5. Best ship to aid a friend in a Rifter - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Sentinel seems an interesting option (I also fly Pilgrims) which would keep him alive longer against a lot of things. Coercer is also an option, but if I'm going for a 1-mid DPS laser boat, wouldn't a Retri be a better choice? Inty remains a good ...

7. Best ship to aid a friend in a Rifter - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
I'm far more interested in both of us having a fun time than getting ISK effective kills by losing Rifters, hence why I figured my Arbi with remote reps might help his ship. I guess a T1 frig or Inty would be best, maybe Inty so I can tackle more ...

8. Best ship to aid a friend in a Rifter - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
I've convinced a friend of mine to try out PvP in low-sec and he's in a Rifter. Not a lot of SP yet but I can show him the ropes on that bit. My question to you, what ship would best aid him in PvP? Should I just grab a T1 frig of my own or would...

9. Lab pos defences - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Just the tower itself with a bucketload of guns and support batteries and hardeners can give the enemy a really hard time. Things you'll need most: Hardeners 2 on each for your 0% resists and 1 for your 25% resist, nearly doubles your POS's eff...

10. How many SPs did you have when you started PvP? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
About 15mil I would reckon, most of it in Mining and Industry. Back then I was quite the carebear, partially do to having been ganked in my noob-Badger back in the really early days in low-sec. Took out my used-it-for-everything Ferox with Blaster...

11. Kited by a Harpy - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Edited by: Thenoran on 20/10/2009 11:17:08 For Drones against a Rail Harpy, pick Warriors. Although a lot of Rail fits actually do not plug that EM hole (so they can fit MWD, Disruptor, Cap Booster, MSE and Locus rigs), the Acolyte is terribl...

13. solo ship that's good against blob - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Yeh the safest bet is a nano ship that can either burn out of scram range when you need to (Taranis with AB) or stay at 20-24km and shoot from there. Minmatar and Amarr ships can be quite decent Nano ships, as well as most Interceptors and some AF...

15. Why do so many pirates run from a fight or call in friends? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
A true 1v1 that is honored by both sides is a lot of fun (if the player & ship combo are atleast somewhat equal), but due to the nature of EVE (and its population) it's also rarely not violated. Usually a 1v1 is about getting a target where you w...
