1. CCP, do you ever feel bad? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
You are usually so busy working on the next great thing that you don't have time to really get into all of the bashing. However, you can never totally cut yourself off because you need the feedback. But you also realize that for every flame, th...

2. CCP: More Hardware != Improved Performance - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It is a huge mistake to assume that any game company is an expert at EVERY aspect of creating a game. Making a game, or even worse, an MMORPG requires a large amount of technical knowledge in very diverse areas. I wouldn't be shocked in the least...

7. CCP What will it take for you to get your ISP to fix the LVL3 Router? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Quote (mostly): If there was a problem with the router, then a lot of people would be down and it would have been fixed by now. Um, no. I once had to call someone like UUNET to report a looping pair of routers. The site that I couldn't get to? ...

8. White Flash when jumping - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Clearing of the caches doesn't help and unless the camera is moving to the sun for just that frame, it isn't a problem with the camera. Oh well. I guess I'll just close my eye and hope I actually jump.

*sigh* Oh the memories. Spent 10 years in Law'ville GA (there is a sign on 316 heading to Athens that was "doctored" to say Law'ville). Now I'm up in Alberta Canada weathering the chilly north.

Assuming you installed to C:\Program Files, then find the following directory: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\cache\MachoNet Delete the contents. Everytime I have had the exact problem you talk about, clearing that directory fixed the problem.
