22. Where do you creat your Cynosural Field? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Another good trick, if you have the choice, is of course, do jump to a POS. And if someone is stupid enough to warp to the cyno, they get blown away by the uber POS guns. :)

What would be spiffy is to specify the 'type' of module in each slot, and then have it auto-pull the best variants you've got on hand.

26. Giving out my email? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
For those wondering if this is something CCP requested, Harris would have to be pretty stupid for it not to be. They state upfront that CCP requested it, and if CCP didn't, they're wide open for a lawsuit.

27. Giving out my email? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
As is clearly stated, the survey is /for/ CCP, so they are fully within their rights. The survey is quite interesting too. It looks like CCP is curious about the console and non-electronic game markets. I'll be curious to see where this heads. :)

29. noob mining question - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Sounds like your cargohold might be full. Do you have other stuff in it too? If so, clear out the extra junk, and then try jetcan mining. It works like this: Mine until your hold is almost full. Right-click on the ore, and Jettison it. Select the...

31. What is... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
That depends... for PVP, a shield tanker will definately harden their EM, cause it's our weakest resist. However... it's armor's innately strong resist.

32. warping speeds - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Huh. Well, I'll take your word for it on that part. Regardless, inertia stabs are still better for at-the-keyboard travel. :)

33. warping speeds - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Hoshi How fast a ship turn and accs is determined by a value called inertia. Inertia is equal to Mass * a hidden agility value. Less Inertia = better. Nanofibers just lower the hidden agility value while Inertial stabilizer...

34. warping speeds - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Nanofibers are nice, if you're autopiloting, because they reduce the time to reach the gate. Inertia Stabs are better for at-the-keyboard flying, for a few reasons. 1. They increase agility. This gets you pointed the right direction faster. 2. T...

36. So is the game working better or worse than 6 months ago? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I haven't had problems in Pure Blind. Even when we had a large fleet op, there wasn't any lag at all. I also find a great deal of humor in the comment about a jump queue to get into a Jita, and Jita not being laggy. You think there's a correlatio...

40. Exploration: Is it delivering on it's promises? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
KRIN's exploration expert has been doing pretty well. A few rat and drone plexes, and then a day or two ago, he found a deadspace Bistot belt. Somewhere in Pure Blind. Where we normally see nothing better than Kernite. So yes. We like exploration....
