121. Alternative to dev's "Getting rid of local" - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
The devs have said that local was never meant to be used for intel purposes- I do not believe this. If this was true, why is it that the local channel is the only channel that can't be closed? I believe the local channel was created for this exact...

Edited by: Zorok on 13/03/2008 22:42:01 One more question to the devs. You stated that you wanted to make AFs more resistant to webifiers. Is it possible to do the same thing with T2 and Ewar drones? As it stands now, drone ships are extremely...

123. Game Design Live Dev Blog about the Boost patch and more on Thursday, 13 March from 20.00 to 21.00 GMT - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
With regards about removing the local channel, as a lowsec miner, this is completely unacceptable. By implementing a delayed local count and an "optional" local chat channel you are taking away any benefit to even mining in lowsec space. Already, ...

125. New Fendahl Dev Blog, ARM Scripts and Bandwidth - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
BTW I played on the test server. You'll have to buy the scripts on the market. All the modules mentioned lose about 50% effectiveness in Trinity. Take any modules counterpart from Rev 2.2 and divide it's effectiveness in half. This is what you get...

126. New Fendahl Dev Blog, ARM Scripts and Bandwidth - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Edited by: Zorok on 22/11/2007 21:59:48 The ARM scripts in themselves are a good idea. HOWEVER and this is a big "however"- the way in which CCP is going about implementing this is totally wrong. The problem I see with this implementation with...

127. Supercaps, Caps, Drones and Fighters, a New Zulupark Blog - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I do not own a carrier however I have to say that I dislike this idea. A carrier is a large investment of money so the whole idea of making it a "balanced" ship is unfair to those who invested the time and money into building a ship such as this. ...

128. Problem with marketlog export file names - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
This suggestion probably will not apply to 99.99% of you who play Eve but for the .01% of us who develop "helper" applications to be used with the game. Programmatically it is possible to detect the regions with the current way that the Eve client...

129. Problem with marketlog export file names - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I noticed that Eve no longer places spaces in the filename created when you do an export. This is causing me huge programming headaches because the computer program can't parse the data. Take for example the following filename: Kor-Azor-Berserker ...

130. Nosferatu and Khanid changes on the test server, new Blog by Fendahl - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Ahh yes thank you. It appears the devs are adamant about forcing these changes on the community. They don't appear swayed by the outcry. I see the one difference in what I believed about how the nos would work under their proposal is that the nos ...

132. Nosferatu and Khanid changes on the test server, new Blog by Fendahl - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
It would be nice if a CCP rep could at least comment on all these feedback we have given. I would like to know that they realize that this change has concerned a great deal of the Eve community at this point- more so than any other proposed change...

133. Nosferatu and Khanid changes on the test server, new Blog by Fendahl - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
After reading many of the opinions here, I can't add any new suggestions to the current argument over the proposed NOS nerf. I like the limited engineering slot idea. As far as CCP's idea goes, I can only say that it appears to be a knee-jerk reac...

Yeah.. I was flying an atron at the time fitted with nano-fiber mods to help bring the ship to warp faster (agility bonus) even with two of these named modules equipped, this did nothing to save me. :-/
