1. After careful thought, this still has no place in the game (IMHO) - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Originally by: Tobias Sjodin Originally by: dennyreborn By your analogy you run a store. the store has a safe. Several trusted and long term employees need access to the safe called managers. A manger one day decides to take all t...

2. So ... whats this (EC-P8R) all about? - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
You also increase the morale of your own pvp corps. Trampling an opponent that cannot do much in return and stuffing killboards with their haulers moving out of territory keeps the troops happy. You know how certain people like to out-blob stuff a...

3. After careful thought, this still has no place in the game (IMHO) - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Quite a few people in real life do not go to jail or suffer any consequences if they steal money or property that belongs to someone else. Attempts are made in EVE community to persecute corp thieves and scammers, just like in real world any socie...

4. Bubble gate ganks, anyway to escape? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Bring an alt along in noobship. Put it through before your main goes in. If you pass though certain system that is camped all the time, just make the alt live in the system and turn it on every time you need to travel.

5. why are people so mean? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Well look at it from the stand point of the players who you hunt. So one particular evening, they come back from work/school and open up their EVE client and think "yay! i've got 3 hours to play! now let me make some ISK to buy that skill/ship/mod...

6. Have IAC turned to piracy? - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
In the meantime I would like to warn everybody to treat IAC as you would treat your commonplace local pirates. Their boys are colorblind until you talk to their superiors. I think all that rum and parrots must be getting to their heads. Or perhaps...

7. Have IAC turned to piracy? - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: maGz We're pirates because we shoot neutrals in 0.0? The problem is that you shoot neutrals in other people's territory, and camp it. Now if this isn't piracy, what is? Piracy is killing ships that belong to others for ...

8. Tracable alts - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Don't forget that characters can bought and sold. One day you trace an alt to one player, another day to another.

9. Best area to get started - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
First, train up social skills before running missions. Have at least social level 4 before proceeding along with negotiation level 3/4 and connections level 3/4. If you do not have those skills, start training them right away! NPCs that live in 0...

10. A Thorax or Osprey for mining - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: sdeer on 06/01/2007 10:42:28 Vexor will be better for mining if you have drones V and a few levels on interfacing. This way your drones will bring in a bit more ore than a 5th miner II module you can fit on thorax. Be aware that wh...

11. Blasters > Railguns? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
This is why caldari ships are considered to be good for ratting and mission running. They specialize in long-range weapons, missiles and railguns. An NPC is dumb. It will fly and shoot at you until it is dead. Real players will simply warp away if...

12. Time investment is daunting... - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The cool thing in EVE is not flying the biggest most expensive ship with supreme firepower and pwns all. The cool thing is what you do with it. The time it takes you to train all those other skills you will also spend learning the ins and outs of...
