I would just once like to be asked for a million isk in order to pass rather than be blown to bits wothout question. Wouldnt that be funner?
I guess the problem with that is, in the time it takes to ask, your shuttle would be gone!!

Thats the GM RESPONSE that I got from a petition because someone killed my ship in 0.0 when i was just flying around, OMG! The truth is that in that group everyone calls pirates there are several other groups of people.

The typical pirates, those are the ones you didn't meet i think, they randsom anyone they can, let them go if they pay and blow them up if they can't, sometimes they will just kill someone for laughs and giggles or for the sake of an old score settling. All in all you can't acuse them of not being 'real'. They are as real as pirates get without the romantisised version peeking through :P

The typical PK. Mostly they (you guessed it) PK people. They kill whoever for no reason other then being in the wrong place at the wrong time and they do it asmuch as possible. Whenever the opertunity arises to randsom or make a profit while reaping corpses, they will ofcourse grab that opertunity. Don't expect to be set free after you payed you precious toll though, they prolly just tear you a new bung anyways, but sometimes they won't. They do what they want when they want because they are people who pay for this game and play it the way they want to, just like you do!

These guys kills for money. Its a lucrative business for anyone whos carved out a name for himself in EVE. The ones who didnt make a name mostly make it by being MERRAUDING HOARDES ARRR! They accept money from people...People who don't like you, for whatever reason... Insulting them, mining in their system, killing one of them, talking to them, jettisoning a can near to them...whatever. They will keep killing you untill you pay some stupid amount of money (which you prolly can't afford) and sometimes the guys who dont like you will pay more and you will get killed some more and then sometimes you will talk smack and then it will start to get personal rather then business and you'll get ganked some more (lots more).

Ever stolen anyones ore? Thoughts it might be cool, or you just wanted to know what all the fuss was about? Or maybe you wanted the rush of doing something illigal just once in your life?! Ever saw a person in a pod..seemingly AFK in 0.0 space? Ever thought...'hey maybe this guy is just trying to get back home...i should help him a bit'. Well then chances are that one day you're little adventure will come back to haunt you because thar be bountyhunters!!! These guys kill criminals for cash... Anything from you petty candythief to you grand scamming master and grand master podmuncher! They also hunt whatever else they think is BAD. If YOU have a problem...if noone else can help...and if you have some kind of vague evidence that its legal...maybe you can hire the bountyhunters!
