Akita T Caldari Navy Volunteer Task Force	Posted - 2009.08.07 07:34:00 - [1] Everybody can name a few ships that are good for this or good for that or whatnot, or ships they prefer for something... that's easy. The tough part however is finding which ships plainly and purely suck balls no matter what you try to do with them. Obviously, feel free to point out the errors of previous posters and show them the ship they thought sucks badly doesn't really suck all that badly "if only you would do this and that" when you want to use it for "whatever". Gallente versions have damage bonus, drone bays and more powergrid. It becomes more practical to fit rail guns to more powerful gallente hulls. Caldari have a line-up of utter suckage, their ships use shields, very little armor, thus they should be rather light and maneuverable and fast. Also they are supposed to be advanced and hi-tech, but this isn't the case... Caldari have the slowest ships in game, the lowest damage, and in all cases have to avoid PvP, because they can't fit tackle or tank. Faction ships, navy ships and pirate ships are so 2005, they need updates and refreshment... all their counter parts have had major boosts, now they need some renovation too. And again moa wins the maximum malformation award... with lack of any purpose

And again moa wins the maximum malformation award... with lack of any purpose Can't agree with that - moa is cheap to fly and fit as blaster boat in ganks - throw few mil and u can do with no skill bunch of dps + have a bit of hp due to res bonus. Eagle can be 200km+ sniper to take care of frigs and such targets with ease and ferox - read this forum, some guy with few frends flied couple of feroxes with rr quite effectivly. So ya, caldari aint good in dmg, in fact they're worse than any other race, but if u got a bit of imagination you can do a lot of funny thing in those boats. Just think :) Edit: (forgot about topic!) In fact there is nothing like "worse" boat ever. With every boat u can do something unthinkable for others :) Anyway, IMO Gila sucks a bit, just because its really odd to for me to mix weapon systems.

If u want snipe, u get into bs, if u want a lot of dmg, u get to amarr bs/hac, if ur lazy u get into gallente drone boat :P Caldari got basickly one purpose - with 1 month old char u can get into raven and do lvl4 missions. All that I'm saying is you CAN do pvp with those boat, its fun but you'll most likely loose it, and don't even dream of 1vs1 anyone with decent fit :P

Posted - 2009.08.07 10:21:00 - [29] Deimos Lacks a fourth mid, tank is pathetic, damage is overshadowed by Brutix (it should get a 6th turret or a 10% dmg bonus) and is essentially nothing more than a 100mil Thorax with improved Kin/Therm resistances. Looks good though... ------------------------ Low-sec is like sailing along the coast of Somalia...

Although, the best fitting can definatly be found here: http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/4273-My-Obelisk-setup.html But even with this fitting, a Velator managed to take me out. It did take over 18 hours though...
