The patcher failed on the current version for me, but i downloaded a different patch from an older version and it worked fine.

I'm relatively new to this universe, so I may not have all the facts and I may be shortsighted regarding points within the game due to lack of gametime, but I want to say that I am concerned that 'too many chefs spoil the soup',...that 'the more you overtake the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain',...I guess what I mean is....the more you pick the game apart and make it more complicated to satisfy those who have an awesome grasp of the game and are getting a little restless, the more fresh blood you might wind up sending to a early "Watergrave". This is an awesome game and I'm completely hooked at the moment. I'm just concerned that after spending so much time trying to get to a place where I'm actually doing fun stuff, you will change it drastically enough that (as you already have regarding Rats and their frequency in spawning and a couple other small things) that I'm back at the beginning just barely able to get anything done. I'm sorry if i sound like I'm complaining. I don't mean to be. I just mean to point out that There is a genuine fear of this game being destroyed by changing it by so many 'bit by bit''s. Well considering the game now instantly crashes to desktop when the the ambient music is playing and you go into the map I would say this was a weird Idea for a fix(bug report and files from the crash already sent)
