I'm wondering if it is possible to seed more storyline agents, especially for the pirate corporations?
Right now I've been running missions for Serpentis in Fountain, and got a storyline mission offer. Problem is ... it's 47 jumps away from where I am now. So I'll have to make quite a long trip for who knows how many missions and how much standing.
I know other people who've had the same happen to them, but yet no one who's gotten a storyline offer with an agent in Fountain.
Not to mention that this storyline agent is in Curse, 3 jumps from U-Q ... umm, yeah. So I'll just factor in the cost of new implants and clone into the equation then too ;)

Last night I got an email after doing my 26th mission for a lvl 3 agent. I did parts 5-8 of the missions The Trojan Horse for Bram Vynneve. I see several others have done these missions also. Two of the missions required 10 jumps each way to complete. No problem I say as this is the implant distribution now so I will live with it I say to myself.
So at the final mission I have to go 7 jumps to pick up a +1 Chrisma implant and 63 units of Consumer Electronics as my reward. I use to be handed a +3 Memory implant each time but now I am working for this Gallente woman who gives out poor rewards. If this is the case I have no idea how the +3 implants are handed out. Do we have to do 20 important storyline missions to get something decent now? I spent almost 2 hours to get this weak reward and a slight fraction standing. I was worried that she would through in a kill mission or larger cargo mission and I would have to travel another 10 jumps to switch ships to complete these story parts. If this is to be fixed that would be great to know. The missions are interesting stories I agree but 2 hours of work for a +1 implant and a good story seems a bit unjust.

I've now had same storyline mission 4 times. Face to Face part 7 followed by part 8.
Aside from the fact that it's a level 1 mission and I'm doing level 2; aside that it's for a different corp so the important missions aren't helping the corp standing I'm trying to raise; aside that the agent refers me to another agent who on inspection turns out to be a perfectly ordinary level 1 agent of no interest whatsoever; and aside that it's starting at part 7...
After 4 consecutives runs at the same storyline - and no others - it's not much of a story!

I also got the same storyline. I also got a +1 int. Seems there is going to be a +3 implant problem very soon. The missions in the storyline dont stay at the same level as my agent. This agent must be a level 1. --------------------------

Ddint read all the pages but if im only gonna get a Story Line missions once every 100 normal missions (Same rate as my implants) then how will i raise my faction standing?
Do normal missions raise it or will Story line missions give 10x the faction boost importants did? ---------------------------

What IF the agent runner is afraid to take missions becuse of the Deadspace mission BUG? What if the agent runner has to spend more time petitioning because of the Deadspace mission bug and doesn't get the "storyline" mission? What if some noob get the Deadspace mission bug 3 time in a row (like me) and quites?

Must have been in the last 12 hours because I heard reports (didn't test it myself) of dead-end DeadSpace mission WPs last night.
If this is true, it still begs the question..."Why was there no NEWs post stating the fix/workaround"?
(i.e. some of us don't hang around in the forums 24/7) - [Obviously not me]

My generic agent is a level 2 with 10 base quality. I got an evemail by an storyline agent and immediatly moved to him and made the mission.
Mission(simply kill mission, 5k and 10k rats) was done fast and easily, reward was 0.
Hopefully missions get better. Maybe I should do some missions with my main too :)

I was also offered a storyline mission that was some 20 jumps away from my current location. It was a lvl1 agent that offered it.
This isn't a whine or anything. I love the patch! :) Just would like to see some clarification as to whether this is working as intended or not. If its broken I'll file a bug report, if its not, thats fine too.

I had the same thing happen to me, the agent wasnt at the station he said he was going to be at. But the reward, a +1 Int implant, was tucked away neatly in my hanger. One other thing i noticed about this agent, was that even though he said he'd updated my neocom journal with the info id need to do the mission, it wasnt updated at all. I got the info when i docked at my home station and the agent was there under the agents tab (like when you are on a mission). Was a tad confusing, but sorted in the end.

Doing lvl 2 missions for some T2 comps and get storyline missions 13 jumps out or further and my bonus is a +1 Perc implant. No way I can refuse it, it simply doesnt have that option. So I go 13 jumps out and then 13 jumps back for a +1 mission or else loose standing if I let it expire.
Bug or not? And if not, will I get +2 implaants if I'm lucky when doing lvl 3 missions?
Better to try and fail, then to fail due to not trying |

Are these 'important missions' (the level-1 story line, +1 implant missions) supposed to give faction increase because the ones I have done did not?
