52 and as mean as ever. I'm guessing that some of the other people posting even remember the days of Doom/Doom2 and the Dwango boards. This was before the Internet caught on kids..... The only fight worth fighting is the one you should lose. |

Only 47 years young, but that dude is my hero!
Honestly, the dude was awesome, he doesn't play now I don't think but i'd have to check, He even had a BattleHulk ready to go.

Ah Doom, sheer class. Think I've still got the original floppy disks somewhere.

How refreshng to see a post like this.
40 and two months here....been playing EvE since 04. Like everyone else I started way back when it was ZX Spectrums and the like. My lad (13) still cant make his mind up whether its cool to have a Dad that is into the same stuff as him and his mates or whether he should be ashamed of me. The fact that his mates think I am star in their eyes probably swings it towards being 'cool'....but he would never admit to that would he?!
Often makes me smile when I say I like EvE and similar to people because so often anyone who enjoys what we all do is branded as a geek and they really are taken aback when they realise thats not true.
Great to see so many people posting in here.

So am I the only one who started with an old MSX computer with a casette tape? And after that an MSX2 with a floppy drive.
Those old games like loadrunner and antartica So wait this is the end of my post allready?
I'm not in multiple alliances to spy! I'm in them so I'll always be on the winning team |

First PC was the CBM 64, first decent game, The Hobbit. Whilst the tape loaded in the cassette player, you had time to go to shop, make dinner, eat, then wash up. And pray that it loaded ok. Level 9 text advenures, curry and a few beers with wife til early hours trying to figure out how to get out of some silly room. Hearing about something called MUD, playing from work And of course the bbc computer inspired game that revolutionised the Space Genre Game.If you have to ask the name of it, then You shouldnt be in this thread young sirs and madams

57 in a few days and luvin' it. My son also plays EVE, he's 16 but plays like a champ. LOL...just like RL though, he thinks I have the ISK tree growing in our alliance station. And no, he plays in another corp...actually he's red to me.
Cheers!

47 here and still loving it! My kids think I'm very strange for playing a computer game on my free time instead of watching "professional wrestling" with them. Where did I go wrong....?
