Anyone 40 and over playing EVE...besides me :-) Hopefully in another 40 years by the time I end up in some "old folks home" it'll be common place to see us geezers playing whatever evolves from MMOs instead of still cards or checkers.

47 here. Been playing computer games since the late 1970s (a game called bomber, written in FORTRAN, played on a mainframe). I can't imagine life without them now. Any 'old folks home' that I wind up in had BETTER have good internet access!

would be interesting to see the actual demographics of this game, age wise, but i would hazard a good guess that a large percentage of the people that play this game are those that are the over 30 crowd ( i am 43) and, if you took the ages of all the people that get keylog scammed they would be the under 20 crowd :)

I hear the PC gamer demographic has an average age of over thirty these days. When you've got U3A (Universite du Troiseme Age - they're all over retirement age) running LAN parties in the local community school, it's going to help push up the mean. And that was 5 or more years ago (my dad).
EVE especially is a niche game. Some of the attribtes that it takes to stick with it are less frequently found in school-age kids than in the mortgage-age section of the kid market, notably "the cash to buy PLEXes" :)
Oh, and /kezzle raises his forty hand with two fingers extended.
