Good work over all. I'd like to put a vote in for htpass support though. It's a basic function that we feel should be available in such a browser. Helps websites provide better visitor vs user level differentiation. Thanks CEO |

Just popping in to get in my periodic request for status on Fleet-related JS functions for Dominion. Please, please, please? :)
Any update on whether this will happen?

As promised, I'm back.
Regarding Javascript fleet functionality, this will not be happening for Dominion 1.0. Will it ever happen? We just don't know.
Regarding extra mouse button support, this is almost certainly possible and is something which we may look at implementing. We are unable to say wether this would be pre- or post-Dominion 1.0.
Additionally, we're hoping that the resize crashes which have been reported will be resolved in the next Sisi build. However, it is looking possible that Javascript callbacks will not be useable in this build. I'll try to keep you posted on this.
Again, we appreciate all your support and feeback :)

Small errors on the wiki about the functions...
showInfo does not work - at least on the current client. ShowInfo works. (All functions have the same problem).
onClick should be onclick

So, I've been drinking and I came up with an idea that sounds sweet to me right now but not sure because of my current BAC.
What if there was a way to, say, open the IGB and go to Dotlan (because the site rocks) and have the ability to click a system and it links it in fleet - or maybe you can right click and get some code then paste it into fleet?
How kick ass would that be for FC's?

Edited by: Haskell on 28/10/2009 17:20:10 Confirming the resize crashes don't occur any longer after today's patch (build 110372). Instead resizing the window is horribly slow now and seems to squeeze the window contents until the mouse is released.
JavaScript methods have been changed to start with a lower case letter: CCPEVE.showInfo works now. CCPEVE.requestTrust/RequestTrust has apparently been disabled.
Any other changes?

Edited by: Wollari on 28/10/2009 23:40:16 Javascript Events for Mousewheel action are still bugged.
Javascript Mousewheel test page: http://adomas.org/javascript-mouse-wheel/test.html
Google Maps is even better. Because the above method isn't working you can only zoom in with your mouse but not out. Zooming out with your scrollwheel will zoom in for you.
Please fix this bug. It has worked in the first public version of moondoggie and ofcourse with chromium.

What if clicking a link with your middle mouse button would open it in a new tab? Or make it configurable since middle mouse is the default eve voice push to talk button.
I'm asking this because I don't have the extra mouse buttons you where on about earlier (and not planning to get a mouse with them either) but would love this functionality, so I can open multiple channels and posts on the forum and then close the tab when I'm done with the post and want to go to the next one. _________________

Any news on possibly getting
EVECCP.transferISK(charID, amount, reason);
which would pop up the 'transfer ISK' dialog filled in.

Haskell yes like that spot on Signature - CCP what this game needs is more variance in PVE aspects and a little bit less PVP focus, more content more varied level 1-4 missions more than just 10 per faction high sec low sec and 00 |

Does that mean IGB development will continue after the release of Dominion, or will you guys be moved to new projects?
I enjoyed the open communication in this thread and would be really sad to see this end after the release.

Idea: Bit of a cross over from a Post on the new Bulitin board about FC's posting their Overview setting:
Can we have JS functionality, or mime type detection in Moondoggie to pick up linked Overview files.
Ie the exported files, that would be on a websever (for example) and linked. If you click it, some how (prompts "Import Overview?", or just does it, don't know.)
Thoughts?

I'd like to see the following till release:
1) Remove the system-scrollbars and replace them with ingame scrollbars. 2) Also allow the contents to be semi-transparent when the window is made semi-transparent. _________________________ EveAI.Live - The EVE-Online API/class library for .Net, C# and VB.Net |

1000x better than the old igb
Still has some issues tho.
- Ctrl+Enter doesnt work. In normal browsers ctrl+enter will fill in the "www." & ".com" information so instead of having to manually type out www.eveonline.com, you just have to type "eveonline" and hit ctrl+enter to fill in the rest of the info.
- Clicking on a link with the middle mouse button should open the link in another tab (again standard browser behavior)
- Clicking on a tab with middle mouse button should close that tab.
- Have a 'close other tabs' menu when right clicking on a tab.
- We know the browser shouldn't allow downloads, but they currently just fail silently. Needs some kind of notification.
- Zooming (Ctrl+scroll) doesnt work (cant control font settings either)
- Font size/ width settings dont work for the browser.
- New tab button, the position for the button is all wrong. It should be just to the right of the currently opened window.
- No flash support. If its not gonna work can we at least get some placeholders?
- Secure websites - should have some notification that you are visiting a secured area of a website.

This should be implemented separately from IGB, as additional "service" feeds, established by user, yes, from IGB, yes, but they should not be tied directly to IGB and must work without IGB window open. -- Thanks CCP for cu |

To be honest, that's extremely disappointing. You've essentially rendered hundreds of hours of development work virtually useless, not to mention causing a whole alliance to change a lot of procedures.
Since I'm the one who spent the hundreds of hours developing the stuff, it's pretty frustrating.
