I left the basement and awoke to a new world. There was green grass, creatures that were able to fly in the air without the use of a ship or warp drive. They made a 'peep peep' sound. I viewed other humanoids (from a distance). I approached them (head down) and got a quick look at them... so many of them.... girls, beautiful girls! There were so many of them! I didn't know what to do... so I ran back into my basement... and thank the gods, Eve was up and running again! Thank the gods for Eve, Thank you CCP! Thank you all!

Seth DarkSide	Posted - 2010.05.25 13:16:00 - [276] by the way, i think CCP guys must think about how to solve one problem, at least i think it's a problem. i call it "the login problem" some corporations, or just group of friends make traps on low security/0.0 sectors. they just sit there in log off, and then when the target comes they all log in together and their ships automatically jumping to a specific location, so the big surprise comes to you i think that's not fair. think about it. i'm not crying about some of my losses. i love to be wasted to hell! and to learn from my losses. but that's still not fair. it's just not fair cause there is no way to know somehow about coming danger. thanks

Unfortunate that the PvPers only get a facelift on the Scorpion lol - but after dozens of PvP-centric patches, they can bite our carebear butts :P 2 Problems - Orcale is too expensive overall and it's too costly to change the database. I work with a company that processes several billion $$ in micro-ticket (less than $100) in transactions annually using a SQL database backbone. It's not a MSSQL problem.

I am currently down range in Afghanistan with the United States Army and well we aren't blessed with internet at remote FOBS (fire operating bases) to be able to download such a large file as what tyrannis is going to be. I got online long enough today so that i can do some updates and send some eve mails to friends. Now i can't even do that. I only have 1 hour on this internet but guess that one hour is going to be used up because CCP has let us down preparing for this. Now if anyone should be upset it should be I. But you know what. In the 3 years i have been playing. This is nothing new. Now it is just time for me to wait till my R & R time to be able to download tyrannis then get back on here again. *"Just your friendly carebear. Wait i gave that up when i started killing.. "This happens every day....FFS sort out your database" These are interchangeable on game forums, so if you hide the headers, you could be on any game forum, anywhere in the world, when they have server problems. CCP havent even come close to the wierdest messups until they manage to lose Jita after a standard downtime.

WHere have you been for the last 12+ months? Expasions are how CCP "fixes" things they simply write more code and hope that fixes the FAIL code they put in the game last time, and if it doesnt oh well, what do they care? they dont pay to play this game. And the other guys idea would work wonders, if CCP had to credit ppl's account for each server **up and extanded FAIL DT there would be about an hour of extended DT a year period. its amazing how fast things get fixed/ignored if its effecting CCP's wallet
