Well, this certainly could have been played better. Hopefully we'll see some real details go public soon. Personally, I think we're seeing a play for more time when it would be better to just say some very simple things. The fact that those things are not being said is disappointing.
Just a data point for you all: none of this week's devblogs were shown to the CSM in advance.

While superficially positive, and encouraging cautious optimism, I am considering this to be a place holder message while CCP nails down their short-mid term term plans. I heartily endorse the notion of promising what you can actually deliver.

How about putting your head together with them and deciding on some decent iterations that the game desperately needs. For example an announcement on a reworking of something gritty and nasty like POS mechanics might actually capture my attention. |
