I won't be able to care about Incarna unless it's something more than the glorified chat room with avatars that seems likely at present. If it has some genuinely engaging gameplay elements, cool. Failing that, I could probably reach indifference if they include the ability to shove someone out an airlock. And space-strippers. Knowing CCP I'm sure it's not just "eye candy", we'll get mini-games (which EVE is full with, see PI) and corporate offices. As some people said, it's nice for traders to be actually be in a station while trading and not just in a hangar looking at your ship all day. I think people underestimate the effect Incarna can have on how other players are perceived. To support chat with some visuals, sound and interaction on a person-to-person base may have a bigger impact than you'd expect.

You realise out of the last expansions at least 50% of the features were scrapped before launch? And they all looked good until it became clear what would actually make it into the expansion? But that wouldnt be a problem if CCP would use the 'framework' every expansion was and iterate on it like they said they would. So we got a walking in stations, with at least half the stuff, probably more, from what you see on those screenshots scrapped. Then CCP runs after the next shiney they are going to ****ty implement and never fixes incarna.

'Best you might get is an object'll let you dance in a single location, like a dancefloor in a bar. But yeah that said those Are old. 'Better'd be to show the pod-exit trailer from last fanfest, given that was made with Incarna's graphics engine.
