No PLEX For Pakistan Floods? The Hypocrisy Of CCP

Nadia Shah	Posted - 2010.08.12 22:26:00 - [1] If you remember back to the Haiti earthquake CCP decided to run a PLEX for Haiti campaign, First time CCP ever decided to show a "humanitarian" face, Yet before that never decided to PLEX for Tsunami, Pakistan Earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, Or any other natural disaster. Now we have an even bigger natural disaster affecting 14 million people and CCP has done nothing, So my question here is, Why does CCP choose to raise funds for certain disasters but not others? What is the criteria for which CCP must do something to help? Is it that CCP only helps certain Nations? Races? Religions? Some clarification on this issue would ease some of the restlessness within the game.

If you live outside the US for a while and check out other news sources, you'll understand better what he means (assuming I understood his intent correctly). .

Poorest country in the "rich" west to boot. Pakistan 14mill (ish) out of 166million, in a state that is comparatively wealthy compared to many. Ask your oil rich muslim buddies for their famous charity (1 of the 5 pillars after all). Hell, Pakistan is certainly more wealthy than haiti - its a nuclear nation. Sell your bombs to india in return for aid :) As for why CCP isnt doing anything - it could be as others said, down to press coverage.
