Wouldn't it be possible to just petition and ask them to put the char back? :]
Anyway mine would probably be taking a bath while at a moon in 0.0 in my scorpion (I thought I was at my safe but noo  )

my biggest mistake i had happened last year on september.
i had been playing for 2 months.. i realised i had not anny training skills and i only got them cause a corp mate told that they were good... 
lost alot of sp's that way.. and the amount lost does not decrease

Was helping a cropmate with a lvl 4 mission, got beat up pretty bad in my poc cause i was drunk, went to dock at a station to repair, thought the bill said 1 mil and thought 'ok'....it really said 10 mil...

Mine is probably not realising ships used to stop after your orbiting target is killed. Lost a crow to that. Twice...

My stupidest mistake was going afk in a belt in 0.0 thinking that I where in SS, I ended up loosing my mega to a few npc frigs and a cruiser or two

Bought it is my biggest mistake, only reason for its a mistake its how CCP treats customers.
they will never get a bug report/ Petition or anything similar from me again cause next time they treat me like **** ill go to iceland and become murder, and yes i have a bad temper !

A friend and I were mining and we both crashed, I had trouble logging back in and when I finally did I saw in local RUN THERE IS A PIRATE!!
Sure enough I was getting locked and I double clicked a station and didn't realize until I was going into warp he was in a cruiser. =(
By the time I came out of warp and started to turn around to go back and kill him a couple of his friends had hopped in in ravens and I had to just dock and let it go. 
(and then there was this one time at eve camp..)

Deleted a toon, instead of leaving it incase I came back (about 6mil in skills). Starting from scratch now...but 750mil isk going POOF...

During my carebear days around the summer of last year, when making money was hard and I had just joined my first corp (Endless Corp) after being a freelancer for my first 2 months of the game, I was keeping alot of my modules, loot and valuable things in an Industrial, to keep things in some form of order. I did some NPC hunting or some mining and came back to refine what I had. I made the terminal mistake of accidentally refining the Iteron with all my precious valuables in it. Millions of isk down the drain (and several mil to me back then was a crap load of cash) which set me back for some time.
