sobot	Posted - 2010.11.30 18:41:00 - [1] Whenever I open the new Incursion client everything runs as normal. My client shows me how many people are on TQ. When I login It just stays on authenticating until it times out. Any suggestions? I'm on a college network...but I had no troubles logging in yesterday (before incursion) Thanks in advance!

It seems like everybody having this problem is on a college network. I have completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it...didn't work for me.

Could you please run the game with logserv running and reproduce the problem and send us the logserv file. Reproduction step are very important part of the report. Write exactly what you did to make the problem happen. This will help the programmers see where the problem is, and hopefully make it happen on their own computers. Reproduction steps are required for your report to be useful, even if you have attached logs to your report. Using the logserver (to minimize problems with this, its recommended that you either restart your computer or check Task managers process list for unresponsive instances of Eve.exe) 1. Find your Eve folder in Windows Explorer 2. When you have the Eve folder open, find "logserver.exe" and launch it (Do NOT have EVE running) 3. Select "File" -> "New Workspace" 4. Start Eve like you would normally do 5. When you have reproduced the bug, Eve crashes or when you kill the process if it hangs, select "File" -> "Save workspace as..." and save the workspace in a place you'll find it again. ============================ so everybody having this issue, please do those steps and upload the file to some file site, and post a link to that on this thread for the GMs, so this can get fixed sooner.

Think I'm going to stick with the "it's the network code" explanation here, NetOps doesn't give a **** what we do with their network as long as we don't crash it or do filesharing. And, of course, as long as we pay our tuition. EDIT: Uh, I need food and this doesn't look to be getting fixed anytime soon, so I could come up to the CC nowish.
