Never really addressed the biggest issue that of selling faction standing via NeX or other game effecting ideas.
Also if this really was an exaggerated point of view. How about release all the newsletters to show a long history of troll ideas that never happened?

Nobody is making you use anything, your shut your trap and deal with it. Turn off the station environment, and voila.
Nothing makes me more sick to read the crying and frustration of people who think they own a portion of this game by saying they have a say in what and what doesn't happen. If you don't like Microtransations, SIMPLY SAY SO. Don't blow things out of proportion like it's the end of the world.

That blog was utter ****. Truly.
It is fine to defend one's co-workers, but once they go public (aka CCP Zinfandel on the AT broadcast) with various statements, they are subject to public commentary.
But defending the Incarna release? And defending NEX store pricing? Are you seriously standing behind your argument for the current pricing scheme?
CCP's investors must have the CCP management team over the ****ing barrel for you guys to be operating in such a manner. You people are insane.
Edit: $1000 US for jeans? Maybe if I was a CCP management team member driving my company-provisioned Porsche / BMW / Lexus / LandRover. But not many other folks are dropping that kind of coin IRL.
It is clear that your vision for what will make EVE successful supersedes all customer input. And it is probably good that you clarified that point for those who both give your company money and tell their friends about how progressive blindingly stupid CCP is with their IP, EVE.
