As you see the reboot didn't work, and the server is now down. There are techs looking at it and we will hopefully hear from them soon.

i had a full load of cargo that i sold it b4 i realized the market was screwed up it took my cargo but i didnt receive any money for it. Any1 w\ any ideas on what to do?? It was all I had. Today is my last day on the demo & its not lookin good.

k, so rebooting didn't work, we'll have to try something else...
perhaps try rebooting the cluster again, but this time cross your fingers as well?

Information wants to be free, so, when the server dies, a minute or two might be well spent typing up something like "Dear players, the server has gone down, and we're working on it." and post it to the forums and/or the player news center. This has been mentioned before, however, i think it's worth repeating. Anything that would stop everybody and their grandmother from posting "OMGOMG! my training is up, get it back online! OMG OMG!" is worth trying imho. I'm pretty happy with the job CCP does with Eve, though the information bit could be better..

lets just hope that the techs will give an actual timeline. Not the kind they giuve you when you send your laptop to be repaired at factory and say 2-3 weeks MAX. Next thing you know.... you bought another laptop and oneday you get your 2 year old one back in the mail.

if it Doesn't auto reset after reboot Petition but give it half an hour or so for the Cluster to Stabilize

The servers have been on and offline all through the easter weekend! :( It's annoying, and it's not worth paying for!
As a minimum, all players should get their accounts extended while this is ongoing! I refuse to pay for a not working service! No one should.
If I pay to get the newspaper delivered daily, I'd expect it to be delivered, daily....
(Sorry for complaining, I bet you're working it out, but it should be fair to compensate ppl as they are paying)

EULAs mean crap if users get tired and move on. you can have no SLAs or not even have something like a downtime credit etc... and think that covers your ass, it will not period since people will reach a point where if reliablity is only 60% uptime then the customerbase dissapears (EULA or not)

Im not complaining , i know nothing is perfect, but since my monthly sub was paid on Thursday ive not realy had my money's worth, you must agree CCP and i can only ask for at least 2 days free, well not exactly free but what i paid for and didnt get because you cant deliver. Im not paying for thin air, you must understand from a players point of view, we shouldnt have to pay for your problems not 2 years into the game

You need something on the front of the main page to give notice server etc is down and an estimated up time (if possible)
Your excellent work here in the forums is almost wasted because peeps do not look back a page or two for your last post...and then complain there is no news etc etc.
Put on main page, it would make yours and CCP's job so much easier.
