Sisi is stuck running the Dust closed beta on a old TQ build. Until Dust goes open beta and moves to TQ it is unusable except for dust interaction testing. Dust also has a tournament running for the next couple of weeks so that transition will not be soon.
Duality is winter deployment stuff that is predeployment state. That means coded it would not normaly get on Sisi is out there for use to test and help guided CCP to make better choices when there is time for them to make changes.
Buckingham is running a TQ mirror for so people can practice for the Tournament that will start in a month. Also its the current Sisi: all code going to TQ gets deployed on Bucky first. Like the suprise last week.
All three servers are important for the growth of the game and I am glade they are up and running. |

Can't see the icons (or list or details) of anything in my inventories. It tells me how much volume it is taking up and a price estimate for everything. I cant see anything in my cargo either. I can see my stuff in the asset window. have rebooted system, re entered station, set all graphics to high/low.
I can get it by sorting my inventory. But I have to do that every time I switch tabs.... |

Also, the text for the new crimewatch hangs over just a tad too long.
And could the "point camera to selected item" be moved to the bottom of the box? Having it at the top could pose a risk if you accidently click it and then de-orient yourself while in the middle of pvp.
But I do love the new crimewatch stuff, icons and "safety" feature. Looks to be an awesome expansion so far... I apologise beforehand that the answer will neither be short nor simple.
The reason for the multiple test servers is that we are working on multiple releases, and for that matter on multiple games.
Singularity is the production server for the beta of DUST 514. It is running alongside Tranquility with the combined EVE Online + DUST 514 version of Inferno 1.3 whereas TQ is running the same code and same tech stack but with DUST not connected and therefore the DUST code is mostly inert and the DUST components are scaled for configuration test purposes only. Note that I referred to SiSi as a "production server for beta", which is an intermediate step between a test server and a production server, but since people have paid to play the DUST 514 beta then we are treating it much more like a production server.
Buckingham and Multiplicity are then the public and private test servers we use for SiSi and Tranquility; we release EVE and DUST updates to both SiSi and TQ (we then have even more test servers on the staging branch for that code).
Duality is the public test server for Retribution 1.0, scheduled for deployment to both SiSi and TQ on 4 Dec.
Depending on what we need tested then different test servers will be open. SiSi and TQ, as production servers, are always open, but Buckingham and Duality, as test servers, will be open at different times for different purposes. Erlendur S. Finally for now: We beefed up Duality's hardware significantly from last weekend and hopefully there won't be any hardware-related performance issues. In highsec, shooting a suspect (can flipper) causes loss of security status (safety was also turned on full). Can also shoot suspect in POD which causes further loss of security status, no concord reaction, and results in kill rights.

Are the turret audio final? Some of them sound somewhat similar and could use more distinction. They're also missing that extra *umpf*
By similar I mean the hybrid medium have little auditorial difference between them. They have the same-ish startup, which sounds like a laser from a starcraft 2 battlecruiser. If you heard them in a fight you wouldn't recognize which one is which. This also counts for medium/large blasters/railguns, and Medium & Large Lasers. Idea; you could make the tachyon/or large lasers sound something like a Reaper Laser from Mass Effect 3.
TL;DR Turrets need to have their own sound-niche, if that's even a word, and are lacking that extra ''punch''

Damage Notification: This smooooooth scrolling is like a nervous blinking banner on a hacker website. Please let us switch it to continuous mode or somethin else, after 15minutes ive got a sensoric overflow....
Ive done a horde in drone space with carrier and some sentry drones. ive got after 7 respawn in the horde no aggro on the drones, this might be faulty..

I was just on Duality before downtime. I was wondering if and when the new destroyers will be available to be flown? As I would really like to be able to test them myself! In addition, I tested the missile changes. The missile changes are good in my opinion. So I want to communicate my support and approval for those changes, even as a Caldari pilot.

When in Duality, go to the moveme channel and asked to be moved. You'll go to the test system where they have the new drones and ships, etc. |

I am in a Vargur running Sansha Vengeance Level IV.
I have perfect gunnery skills, using 2 T2 Gyros and 2 T2 Tracking Enhancers. I should have a range, according to YOUR ingame stats, of 3.9 km optimal, 62 km first falloff,. which jives with EFT.
I can't figure out why I seem to be missing everything, or barely touching it. Oh yeah, I am being tracking disrupted, and my optimal plus falloff are like 15 km. I found that out when I mouse-overed my guns, since the TD is not showing up on the HUD or in the overview. The NPC's webbing icon does in both places though.
But since I can't tell which NPC's are tracking disrupting me, I can't try to target them.
And yes, I have filed a bug report on Duality. |

Thanks for the audio feedback, it's really nice to hear that you actually went through these. We in the audio department spent quite a lot of time updating all the turrets and making a lot of changes and cosmetic changes to the entire structure of the audio system, creating a much "bigger" experience, so we really need the feedback to meditate upon.

The turrets are "final". Meaning that your feedback is really good to us and I will go over them an extra time to make sure that your experience of the "too little" changes between them is not just because some of them happen to have the same files.

We are not sure if the guns actually have a recoil sound. Like you say it's hard to explain audio, but I think I get your points here. About the Tachyon and large lasers, you should try the x-large lasers instead.

I emailed J+Šn Hallur not too long ago about this. He said that CCP doesn't have any plans for updating the soundtrack. I think that's rather unfortunate.  |

Thought the squares where fine the way they were. Not sure if circles are necessary. If the damage indicators ran clock wise, shields, armor, hull, it would be more intuitive.
The new damage notifications are very nice.
The salvage drones really need to be able to salvage on their own or give them more speed, alot more speed, to get from wreck to wreck. And if they don't salvage on their own not sure if anyone would use them.
The new Caldari desi, with poor missile skills, hits harder than a pre buffed hybrids, maxed skilled, Kronos. The Kronos has an amazing look with the new Mega hull.
The new Gallente desi works ok for ratting/missioning but is limited by the lack cpu and dps.

I think it is safe to say a 20 meter long weapon will have a recoil, just the same as a 1km long weapon will have a recoil. The 1km long one should simply be louder, or more noticable, and the 20m one you should be able to hear whilst zoomed in on your ship. Also, it would be great if there were intensified sounds when weapons are overheated. |

i havent been able to log into duality at all in the last 12 hours, the launcher works but when it goes into the sign in page it wont launch it, i tried to use the repair tool and it reverted to tq or something but it had to repatch and after waiting through that it goes back to the same issue, im not having trouble with the tq server or the buckingham server sign ins just the duality, is anyone else having that problem or am i the only one? |
