Hmm. Tough call.
The serpentis Vexor, Incursus and Thorax look pretty damn hawt.
I also adore the wolf (Mm... chromed rifter with a blue tint.. rar..).
The Taranis and Crusader are both very very good looking, small, fast, and loaded with guns. They just look buisness.
I also love the Enyo.. flaming red incursus..
Claw.. it's ugly as heck, but it's lean, it's mean, it's got just about every square meter covered with guns, and it looks the part.
Stiletto.. it's like the Claw's smoother brother.
Armageddon and Apocalypse.. they are both great. Both look powerful as all hell, overly decorated (golden hull ftw?) and they just look the part - Mean warships, and nothing else.
Prowler.. it's ugly. But it looks great. It looks fast, it looks durable, and it looks minmatar. Just the kind of ship to rua blockade at breakneck speed.
Damn.. I like a lot of ships.

It looks like a wee transformer (robots in disguise and all that). If only it actually transformed into an impenetrable ball or something.

I said it before, and I'll say it again: The Cormorant doesn't get the appreciation it deserves. It may not be the best looking ship, but it certainly is a looker!
As for the best, of course this is a subjective oppinion but in no particular order...
Vindicator (the best of the Megathron skins)
Machariel (smooth, rare, and deadly)
Caldari Shuttle (classy, refined, minimalist)
CONCORD Swat Thingy (how can you not like that sexy little frig?)
Silver Magnate (obviously ornate, obsensively ostentatious, over-the-top)

I like the look of the shuttles really, especially the minmitar one. I just screams TIE-fighter without actually being a knock-off.

Definately the Catalyst. The blue metal plates on it look so awsome and it's shape is sweet. It's also got a little spinny thing on top of it, and i think that it's the only ship with an actual animation on it. Anyways, BEAUTIFUList ship by far.

Even though i don't fly amarr ships and hardly ever meet one of these in space, Arbitrator looks damn Sexeh! , npc variant is 'Blood Arch Engraver' iirc.
After that, Wolf, Jaguar look nice, Red Incursus(Enyo), yes please  .
Claw with the excessive amount of guns .
Ishtar *drools*.
Tempest is also quite nice but could use an update tbh, compared to most of the other ships most minmatar ships seem 'rushed' by art team    . Rupture looks tough, stabber well very fast(and is )

In the "badass" department, I'd have to go with the Tempest for looks - the exposed structural girders, triangular solar panels, and dark color make it look rather menacing.
For the "prettiest" ship, I'd have to go with the 'Geddon. It has excellent symmetry and long, graceful lines.
Honorable mention would go to the Amarr Shuttle (lol). If any ship in the game looks like it should be a starfighter, the Amarr Shuttle is it.
(BTW, anyone else ever notice that the Megathron looks like the SDF-1 from Robotech?)
EDIT: Oh, "most amusing" goes to the Sigil industrial - it looks like a pill bug. The Thorax shares the title with the Sigil, for obvious reasons...

I can't speak for the Navy Megathron, but the Navy Raven is somewhat inconspicous in the sense that you really have to be looking to notice the gold hue to it. From the pic, the fleet tempest looks to be made with the same textures.
IMHO, the one that REALLY stands out and gets you noticed is the Navy Apoc with that smoothed look from the front.

I think the Prophecy is the sexiest ship out there. Really fits the "Battlecruiser" look and feel. I also think the Rupture is an sexy ship for the rugged pirate style.

Hawk is really great. It looks amazing with blue tech II guns. Unfortunately all Merlin-based ships have small glitches in 3D models. Guns are skewed a little which is very annoying. I want my ships to be PERFECT.
Gallent ships are nice too: Brutix and shuttle.
Amarr: Coercer - only.
Minmatar: all crap. Well, maybe Thrasher.
