Short of that, nice changes; but the stealth bomber nerf is unnessesary, the ship is already paperthin.
The scanner is getting an option to use overview settings which is not mentioned in the patchnotes, AFAIK.

You can have fun because you can throw a fully-trained alt away as a -10.0 character.
People without 15 accounts will either need to go to -10.0 or stop pirating all together. Its an absurdly unneccessary nerf to a profession which has been just battered and broken by a series of absurdly unneccessary nerfs.
I like it - concept: more people in low sec. Solution: make it harder to hit in empire and then turn it around by increasing your sec. If you want to pirate, take the pain or go to 0.0 (as you people are always telling us , take the pain AND go to 0.0; risk v reward)

This is not the problem. the problem is for people who are already outlaws and will never have the option of fixing their sec. _______________________________________________________

Quote: # Faction ship offers costing low amounts of Loyalty Points and High amounts of ISK have been added for factions with faction ship offers available. This allows players to cash out Loyalty Points earlier and move to better agents.
Does this mean empires now offer cash only offers as well? I hope not...

OK, so belt pirates will have swarms of fresh targets...

Any chance that the new gang skills could be Willpower based? Or at least a mix. 10 new skills with Charisma as primary is a joke, especially as there are 4 rank 2, 4 rank 5, 1 rank 6 and 1 rank 8.
Charisma has always been a bad attribute, willpower hasn't.
Oh, and if they are patch notes to the current status of sisi, then they are wrong as the highways are still there (unless autopilot is wrong).

That depends my friend.
Stations, ok, altho we don't need them.
But the real question is: will delve and Querious resort to being NPC sovereign space ? Making them unclaimable and thus depriving us of the possibility to use outposts or get the 25% POS fuel use bonus from sovereignty ?
Some NPC home regions are sovereign NPC space, some are not... what will it be ? Would be strange to see two sovereign npc regions for one faction tho...so I guess it wont be sovereign space.
And also: Will these NPC station be added ? Or will the PCS be converted to NPC instead of outposts ?
Here we were, thinking we could plan ahead...
Seems the stations in Delve show on map but are not claiming soverity at present there is 13 of them on Sis and the 3 held by RKK none showing for querious but it might not be final build, now as regards constellations seems they would be able to control half of delve at present.
one issue I have is they have 1 in each system no systems have 2, so they could be packed abit more maybe. Time will tell to see if CCP put some in Querious also.

Edited by: Rod Blaine on 02/07/2005 00:33:09 It sucks tbh, NPC station suck, they should remove them again and put in some complexes with agents in space in em or something.
they just ****** over a region I liked and turned it into fountain 2 or whatever hidey hole of wimpy wannabees you want to replace it with (no insult intended, but npc stations in 0.0 suck, end of story).
Why Delve, why us, why 13 !!! of the friggin things and on top of that in the most useless lcoations imaginable in the region ...

Yes I do know that. My comments were not directed at those poor souls. The people you speak of will have to grind I agree but they will get there eventually. It's the yoyo-sec'ers that I was mainly thinking of. Not that I really care you understand, I was just being flippant.

Well lets see in final release, I wish they could have at least hinted about this before now as it really sucks 4 days notice to realise your going to have aload of Npc stations and probably because of that aload of new routes in :(
But I see your point Rod, it so hard to defend a region with Npc stations

I think that the explainations will probably come after the patch given enough whinage (well a debate beforehand about locations would have been interesting). The thing is, I can see the need for more npc stations in 0.0 - it breaks alliance power to an extent in that more empire players will go there if they don't have to prove their worth to some other random player who happens to be god-of-region. And Ens was right - I'm already scouting low sec empire for a good spot. It's definately a positive patch if you weigh it up I think you have to agree.

Edited by: Rod Blaine on 02/07/2005 01:17:36 No I don't.
NPC station in 0.0 are the singlemost disruptive influence when it comes to controlling space.
BoB is nto interested in having npc station to hide in so we cannot be destroyed. Of we'd been interested in that we'd be in a region with those stations.
We are not. And 13 !! (yes, twice the number of stations fountain has, more then there are in venal, hell only stain and curse ahve mor then that) are now randomly projected into our region all of a sudden ?
K, cool, I like storylines. And sure, we could live with a few npc stations I bet. It's not like one station will mean that much. But 13 is simply ridiculous at this point.
I'd say dump three in low sec empire with some lvl 3 agents or something, and put 3 in Querious and 3 in Delve. Grab the station systems and make those blood raider sovereign space, but nothing more.
That would be sensible. What I've seen so far is not.
p.s. I only post this because I know the distribution probably isn't final yet. If I want to change it, now is the time to say so. So I do. _______________________________________________

They havent in 3 months. Any problems you may be having with PoS profitability arent due to missions anymore, just your own level of competence.

Aye, less Blood stations, split between Querious and Delve, claim ONLY the systems or at most the constelations involved and consider some multi-station systems plz.

Unwelcome POS will have more of a hard time stciking around, AHH not being able to shoot from inside the bubble is going to kill any none alliance POS. Since POS dont focus fire on targets peeps just tank the guns.
Like to see the abilty to board the POS to control turrets and defences.

One thing I notice: not a word was mentioned about the named 800mm plates. The game has no named 800mm plates. Not that it matters much to me, but it's an obvious bug.

I dont see how this is fair to people with very low security status, your basically giving them 4 day's to get it down. I understand you want to get rid of the yo-yo people who kill then npc for 2 weeks and then do it again but your getting a lot of people stuck. I understand you carebear's want to run away from the bad guys but seriously this is ridicolous. Increase agents need to be brought back in then or your gonna alienate a lot of players. Why should it take 1 year to get from -10 to -1.9, but you can get from 0.0 to -10.0 in like 15 minutes....reduce the sec hit's you get from ship kills and pod kills. As a payment customer I find this aspect of the patch highly insulting. I'm not gonna even get started on all the other stuff.

Great, so now low security space is basically no different from high sec space. Way to go devs, you just defeated the whole point of low sec space, in an effort to appease carebears that think they have some divine right to mine in .1 space safely. Watch the number of subscribers tank as people who like to move up and down the sec stat ladder quit entirely.
you can tank your stat in an hour, but it will take you months to get it back. nice. if you're gonna take away nice sec npcs, give us concord agents.
"pick whatever profession you like" though be advised, if you choose pirate, you can never do anything else. ever.
quite possibly the worst patch ever. __________________________ Afecks I like(d) having the freedom to control my sec status. |

Did anyone else notice that Stealth Bombers got another nerf?
Quote: Stealth Bombers can no longer fire a volley, cloak mid-cycle and have their volley affect the target.
Anyway, it is nice that for once something in the storyline is actually affecting the Eve universe. The Bloodraiders are getting kicked out of empire by the Amarr. Though, I do feel sorry for whoever ends up with npc stations they may not want.
