CCP I think is time to act. PKing getting rampant. In this game is no role-playing anything to do for causal players.
Most of my friends simply did leave and cancel subscription because of PKing and griefing. Please stop arguing me we had not go to 0.0 security.
1 - every time I went to PvP on 0.0 systems it's pure bull**** because we are gang on by PKers who shoot first doesn't ask any question and destroy our ships. We had no single chance to defend and we loosing all. Ship doesn't stand longer than few sec. When we create group to start hunt down these griefers they simply left out back to secure area. Yes it's true these players have high sec rating so we can't place bounty or shoot them in high sec sectors. If we are in industrial ships then we have zero chance to rescue. Don't argue with we should hire escort it's pure bull ***t argument. We can insure only ship and it's really costly and put us in bad situation. PkerĘs does camp so game mechanics is against us. This game have so much danger for people who does play. It cost us so much time and real money and we get what? We are frustrated and in fact we does pay for this game and for fun of griefers. CCP start thinking about us we do pay your wages and if many of us cancel subscriptions then you will soon loose money. This game have no content and around 200 players who do PKing deter many players who don't PK.
2 - actually new sort of PKers rise. Forget about MOO they were so stupid and start PKing too early they can't enter high sec, but now prime example Sinister Corp have high sec people who does only PK. In Sinister corp rules is griefing and PKing base rule just check http://www.afraidyet.net/. These guys doesn't get any sec penalty now when they PKing in 0.0 sec so they does have free move around galaxy no one can kill them or put bounty on theirs heads. Why griefers have in game all advantages and who does play and work hard for it have only disadvantages? Does CCP want to have only PKers in game and rest of people should leave. If yes then I want to see here clear CCP statement about what they really want to.
3 - Please not to tell me trash talk like. Don't go to 0.0 or get few friends with you. It's not about what I should do but it's about what I want to do and I will not change style of my play but if game doesn't change quickly I will leave. Simply I donĘt will work for weeks to loose my stuff in 5 sec no matter of what. For me is enough to loose all when I'm kicked from server or my client die. It's possible to insure ship, but it cost far so much than I will to pay and I getting back so few ISK, but that's another issue about unbalance. It's not possible to insure equipment and after last patch (nerf) get gear is impossible. Insurance for clones is expensive too. In sum I pay so much in real money and in game money too and I've zero chance to defend. Griefers getting all and even he doesn't get any penalty. Last night was last drop in pain when I saw three groups of ganged MOO and Sinister members simply pod killing all people traveling from and into Fountain sector. It's simply so much to carry on. These guys from Sinister had sec rating > 9 and even after hours of pod killing they didnĘt surfer any sec penalty hit.
4 ū Griefers have so easy live. They jump in kill people and when they feel that they are in danger then simply leave and laugh at all people how they are so stupid trying them track down. Game doesnĘt allow hunt or have advantage against these people, because we canĘt camp one place as they do and wait if any PKers goes by especially now when PKers have high sec rating so no bounty or neg rating help us distinguish PKers. PKers doesnĘt need check who you are he just simply open fire. If you want kill him then you must first find that jerk. CCP change game mechanic do anything else but stop it or you will loose more and more people. This game getting to nowhere with no content and when game mechanic allow griefing. It doesn't give us any chance to defend or survive. Penalty for being killed with ship is too high and you did remove chance for us to recover.
4 - Forgot about PvP in EVE it's pure PKing game, who does shoot first does win... Should we call this game EVEQUAKE? You work for ship and gear weeks and loose it in 5 sec? So please CCP give us something like instarespawn with ship and equip cos in this case it's only fair solution.
It's only my feel that I see low numbers on login screen than month a go?

Subscription: <CANCEL>
You know money does rule. This post was for CCP not for people like you are...
May be I would be able shorten in my post. My question was:
"Hey guys from CCP does you want my money? Yes? Then start acting on all issues what I describe in my post or I will leave and you can say bye bye 36$/month"
Yes I does have three accounts and few my friends who did already leave have them too. Our guild did shrink from 15 active people to 5 during past month thans to people like you are...

he's right about these new pirates with high security status. they got up their status before the nerf and can now go anywhere they want even though they've become murderous pirates. when CCP changed the way security status is acqured, they should have made the change retroactive.
but i have to agree with molly about the rest of the crap he posted. i've been out in 0.0 space for months and havn't lost any ships to PC pirates.

Me too, but I'm loosing friends and CCP loosing customer because of it. I'm in deep 0.0 and never return back to high sec so I doesn't need to go thru these blocked systems where PKers does camp key systems, like FD-MLJ. Because PKers have all advantages and no security hit for what they doing in 0.0 they could camp and pi*s off people. When they feel that some serious thread coming they simply flee to high sec area. Yes Molly is one of these people so I'd expect his reaction. But people like you Tnelyos are shortsighted once upon time you will face these jerks and you will change your mind but it will be too late for you.

Do you have no lust for adventure and interaction or are you just after the biggest ship in the shortest amount of time with no danger? Why should the pirates who camp be banned or restricted from doing so. They have as much right to do this as you have running your goods or mining an asteroid. The game is meant to be diverse and as such you will have evil and good players. If there was more player interaction then blockades could be cleared by groups gathered at stations on the mission boards. As it stand at the moment some player think that they have a right to do anything they want without any risk to their ships or self!!! If that was the case then CCP would have even less players as it would be a stale boring game.
In my opinion there should be no security beyond .5 space so that it is more of an excitement to venture out and any cargo running will need escorts which will promote far more roleplaying and player interaction. At the end of the day so what if it takes 2-3 weeks to get a cruiser isn't it the playing that counts? -----------------------------

If players are leaving this game because of the pirates then priates = griefers and CCP are fully justified in treating them the way they do.
ALso if players are leaving the game because of folk like MOO then MOO is killing this game slowly.

I was under the impression pirates were complaining that now they're confined to "gankbear space" there are no more targets as no-one goes there anymore.
If you cry out "go back to carebear space" then that's hardly helping the situation.
Agreed, people need to realise zero-zero means anything goes and might makes right, and I fully support the activities of pirates in that region as that's how I believe the game was intended to be.
But, surely it's to a pirate's advantage to _encourage_ the little rabbit out of his hole so he can be eaten at a later date, not scare him back inside everytime he pokes his nose out ?

Actualy I have a hard time to really understand what the security level is for, and more important, if it should still exist.
On one side, you got the "pre-patch" pirates, whose only mistake (if you remove the "presumed" cheaters), was to not know that the game mechanics where going to change, and that are banned from high sec space, and have a harder time being pirates because of that blinking yellow light that appear as soon they are in the area.
On the other side, you have the "post-patch" pirates, who can travel safely in high sec space, and make massacres in low sec space as much as they want, without taking any hit, and because there's no way to recognize them as pirates.
Sorry, but my Injusticeometer is blinking red and the quadrant show level maximum, I can't understand how CCP can let such stuff still be running and make peoples so miserables.
Don't you realise what you are doing ? Nobody think to the whole picture before making changes of that importance ?
Something need to be done fast : Option 1, the easy one : reset everyones security status to 0, I got a high security status, I would lose a lot if you did that, but actualy I don't have the feeling I deserve it, I just have it because I killed pirates "pre-patch", when friends ask me "wow how did you got so high?", I just have to reply "I killed pirates before some patch... SUPEEEEER!". Option 2 the hard one : Move content to low sec space, move high income trade routes to low sec space, nothing in high sec space should make you more than 500k a run, everything above should move to low sec areas, check all trade rotues, if no 0.0 space is involved, nerf them. Move high level skills to low security level bases, move high level blueprints (like M blueprints, or anything else in that category) in low sec space, in short... move all high level content in low sec space, let n00b space to newbies, but only to newbies. Finally, make so that attacking blue(or green) players anywhere lower ANYWAY your security status, I see no reason that in 0.0 you don't get security hits, being a pirates is a way of life, not just a hobby you can do in non-safe space the week-end, while you stay with your family in empire space the rest of the week.

So on that note what is the solution????
Is it to give the less agressive players who want an easy route to the top invisible ships and 100% safe trade routes.
The agressive player just have one battle system where they have to just fight each other for no profit or real pirating fun?
Its not the pirates killing the game its the people who want it all on a plate. -----------------------------

In all honesty this game is very poorly designed for PvP at the moment. If you want PvP and are in a PvP guild (like Sinister) you basically have to camp a jumpgate, this is really the only place you will have any real chance of finding any kind of PvP.
Problem two is of course warp lag, which gives an huge advantage to the camper and probably certain death to the person warping in under normal circumstances. There obviously needs to be something done about this so that it's a bit less lop sided.
Now everyone wanted pirates out of empire space, .1 space is really no different than 1.0 space right now. It's all pretty much safe, I think it's kind of lame, but then again I'm not a huge fan of jumpgate camping as the only viable situation for PvP either, so I guess it's a trade off for now until CCP comes up with a better fix.
You can't really complain pirates are now in 0.0 space, this is what you wanted afterall no? Is this not where pirates belong? I think they do, can't blame the people who want PvP to be PvPing the only way the game allows it, at jumpgates.
Without PvP in Eve, the game is a huge bore, sorry. There isn't much content to this game yet, most everything "neat" was disabled in the final release.
Don't blame the players, blame CCP. Give players other chances to encounter PvP (in more "fair" situations) and you won't see nearly as much gate camping.
Oh and one last thing, if you got PKed in a shuttle, who cares? You lost a 10,000isk for a shuttle, which is nothing, and a clone, which also costs very little. Most people try to run blockades in rookie ships and shuttles and stuff to avoid notice, sometimes with fairly valuable cargo, can't blame anyone but yourself for getting kaboomed.

Your comment on fair. Why does it have to be fair, should there not be times when you are out classed out gunned or out smarted by the more cunning player. Its all part of the learning proccess, you lose a ship to a pirate one way you learn from it and don't let it happen again by taking measures to stop it. Not come on a forum and complain that a 6mil ship was lost and you were podded. -----------------------------

When I say more fair I mean game mechnics, which highly lop-side the advantage to the camper because he's not lagged up loading up the area, or whatever.
I don't mean every PvP battle has to be "fair". They should be fair from a game mechanics perspective though (ie, one person not stuck loading an area while getting pounded).
In other words, you totally missed the point of my post, I suggest you read it again. ------

I read your post and did understand it. You are blaming CCP for their changes to the game causing problems to the fickle minded.
I have played for well over 6 weeks and at no point have I ever found it neccessery to point any fingers at CCP.
You will find most of the stuff that goes onto these board's are player complaining about a fair deal. so and so did this to me, and they took this from me, Boo freaking hoo.
The lag is just one of them things that have to be dealt with in game, look at it as your ship collecting itself after warp. The campers are merely using their intiative to take advantage of it. -----------------------------

The lag experienced at jumpgates and asteroid fields is a technical issue that needs to be improved. It is a problem, it does make PvP less enjoyable.
Many large scale PvP opportunities are lost because quite frankly, no one wants to be the guy who has to warp in, chances are you will be toasted before you knew what hit you, due to the loading lag. No one wants to lose their battleship or cruiser to a game flaw.
Simple as that. ------

OOF! where to start?
okay, there were two point 4's. But that's just me being picky.
And what reaction do you expect to get if you venture out into the lawless lands and get killed?
This <original> post was pure ignorance.
It's bad enough that pirates got knocked back so they can 'only' use 0.0 space, now you're complaining that when you go to the only place most pirates can survive, that they gank you? whaaaa?
Damn, I gotta stop. I don't want to get caught laughing at the forums while I'm at work.
<edit> A lot of posts happened here between refreshes. This one was just intended for the thread starter.
Another point: In your 'unsubscribe' post you said that this was for CCP, *not* the viewers of the forum. If it wasn't for us to read, try using email, *not* posting it on a global discussion board. Or stop being a flid. Whichever's easiest.

OK so maybe it can be improved but you will still get gate campers and still get player moaning about them.
It seems to me some player don't wants to lose anything in this game. All I read on these posts is how they want better protection for thier pretious cruisers or BATTLESHIPS, my god if they are to be the voice of players then we may aswell change the nature of the game to "EVE a place to mine and trade in complete boredom!"
So even by fixing the lag a lot of player will still not make any effort to interact pvp or just general chat in game. -----------------------------
