Great info.
I've 1 question. What happens if you only plug one of the implants ?
For Example: a Slave Epsilon 5% armor HP
Do I only get the 5% bonus to HP ? or do i get more than that ?
Thx in advance

Well this really is already answered, but yes, you get the implant's bonus, times its set bonus multiplier, so in that case,
5% * 1.15 = 5.75% bonus

How many people have trained Cybernetics 5 to use an omega? It makes me sad that even the low grade omega needs such a boring skill :<
There's like a bazillion and five more useful skills I need to train that will still be useful next time I get podded, so I'm not going to. At least not for a while.

raises hand. and I didn't even blink about it.
looks at all the other lvl 5's I have to choose from, this one was only 2 weeks and the easiest I had on my chopping block out of all the 5's I currently want.
Every other 5 I got is 3 weeks minimum if not 4 weeks. 2 week train is nothing for something that adds such a great deal of bonus. Your talking about a 30% bonus for a two week train.
Can you point out to me ANY other skill that gives you a 30% bonus for one lvl of the skill trained please?
I'm not surprised that someone said they can't be bothered with cyber 5, actually surprised that it took this long for someone to complain about it.
think of it this way, you're not training it for the 30% bonus, your training it to be able to use Zor's navigation implant.

I'm likely to be podded, so it's not such a great investment for me, especially since having a Low Grade Omega would make me about 8% faster.

The bonus does not affect attributes, its been tested to make sure ------------------

so what's with that omega thing? You only need 5 implants for your attributes, but there is a 6th implant called omega or something,is this a normal attribute implant or hardwiring or something? Can anyone explain maybe?
thx

The omega is the only one that doesn't boost an attribute. Omegas boost the bonus of the other 5.

Multiply all "set bonus" multipliers together: multi = 1.15 x 1.15 x 1.15 x 1.15 x 1.15 x 1.5 = 3.01703578125 Note: the 1.5 comes from the 6th implant (Omega)
Calculating final bonus: - Multiply each implant's special bonus (velocity, shield boost, armor, etc) percentage value with the combined set bonus multiplier calculated above. - Convert the result to a multiplier. - Multiply the five figures to get the final multiplier (which is the actual bonus).
For the Snake, Crystal and Slave sets: Alpha = 1% x multi = 3.01703578125 = 1.0301703578125x Beta = 2% x multi = 6.03407156250 = 1.0603407156250x Delta = 3% x multi = 9.05110734375 = 1.0905110734375x Gamma = 4% x multi = 12.06814312500 = 1.1206814312500x Epsilon = 5% x multi = 15.08517890625 = 1.1508517890625x
Total = Alpha x Beta x Gamma x Delta x Epsilon = 1.5363x = +53.63%
Seems to be that your maths are a bit wrong...
Your calculation without the Omega implant is correct, but not with Omega I think.
e.g. Crystal Omega Primary Effect: 50% bonus to the strength of all Crystal implant effects
You calculation is 1.15*1.15*1.15*1.15*1.15*"1.5"=3.01703578125
You calculate the set effect (Set Effect: 15% bonus to the strength of all Crystal implant effects) with every single implant but not with the Omega? Why?
e.g. Gist X-Type X-Large with Gist-X Shield Boost Amp boosts 961.8 Shield...with the full set (without Omega!) you get a boost of 1281..(this is proven so far..)
961.8*1.01*1.02*1.03*1.04*1.05*1.15 = 1281 boost (calculations are accumulative, like with cargo expanders!)
With an additional Omega (50% bonus to the strength of ALL Crystal implant effects) the calculation is like this:
961.8*1.01*1.02*1.03*1.04*1.05*1.15*1.5= = 1922 boost!
So a full set with Omega Implant gives a 100% boost, not only 53.63% ____________________ CEO Denial of Service

ugh you sure? its really insane, close to 500 repaired each second, so enemies to overcome this tank need to do far more than 500dps
and imagine how shield tanked dreadnought with fullset of regular crystals + omega could tank in siege mode?
me start to like it:) unfortunetly my wallet dont like it as its far far to thin:(

And the low-grade Halo Omega is also broken. Did they verify these things at ALL? I trained up cybernetic level 5 for that?

Halos should work o the Pod too, though both low and fullgrade are bugged atm.
The math for the implant sets is correct, a game master tested and verified them on the snake set. ------------------

correct me if i am wrong but 52,63% times 50% (fullgrade hardwiring) = 80,44%
so a 6 piece crystal implant sett makes sb's boost more than 80% more. WOW

Hey guys. I have recently purchased a full Low Grade Crystal set. It has all been plugged in, with the exception of the omega (cyber V training now). I can give a few quick stats, for the other raven pilots out there drooling.
Firstly, I use a Pith B-Type XL Booster. Standard unfitted stats on this module = 720 bonus / 4 seconds, expending 400 energy With my Tobias Modified Shield Boost Amp, I am blessed with a further 39% bonus to shield boosting.
The two used together, with shield skills at V, compensation at IV, not counting crystal implants and fitted to the ship, I get 1000.8 boost / 4 seconds, expending 368 capacitor.
Now, taking my new implants, all skills, Pith B-Type Booster, and Tobias Modified Amp into account, I get 1,265 boost / 4 seconds, expending 368 capacitor.
Now, unless I am mistaken, I should be able to expect to see 1581.25 boost / 4 seconds, expending 368 capacitor with the omega implant completing the set
A conventional, and posible setup, can consist of using the Pith B-Type XL Booster + Tobias Modified Shield Boost Amp, along with 2 standard amps, and my 2 dread guristas em/thermal hardeners. This allows me 55% EM & 64% Thermal shield damage resistance. This will give me above 50%shield resistances along with a shield boost of 1,742 / 4 seconds, expending 368 capacitor
Now, having some fun, I use the Pith B-Type XL Booster + Tobias Modified Shield Boost Amp, along with 4 standard amps. The result is 2,289 boost / 4 seconds, expending 368 capacitor.
Once I have the last implant fitted, using the above test of SB+5 amps, my new bonus is 2,861 boost / 4 seconds, for 368 capacitor.
Thought I would give you guys some proper stats, so you could check to ensure your calcs are correct. I have the mods fitted, and I tried these tests as I wrote them down. Not sure if I can do it this way, but my calculation for the omega implant, was to simply go 125/100 * 1000(shield boost) = (new shield boost). Please let me know if this is incorrect, or wont work.

I have Slave Alpha, and Slave Gamma plugged in. I tried to plug in Slave Delta and got this message:
(notify) Plugging this implant into your cerebral cortex might result in a fatal discharge of electro-magnetic waves from your Slave Delta. Please consider other methods of suicide.
I have the skills trained for this...anyone have this problem before? Any suggestions or help?

Hmmmm.Having concidered all of the above plus the costs needed, i tend to think that the isk a single character needs to get all these goodies, will be similar or may exceed the costs of building something expensive in the game, like a freighter for example.Meybe the DEVs should consider introduce some kind of inter-gallactic banking. Those who dont have the money they would go to the bunkers and take a loan, putting their expencive ships or other valuable things for guaranty for example. Now lets do the hypothesis that the character gets pod killed and looses the implants. Or for example the known characters that have taken a loan are known from their enemies and getting hunted down to be pod killed hence economically destroyed. Maybe what i just thought belongs to some other section (or sections) of the forums. But just imagine...

OK, I don't think I am following here. The math tables are all swell and stuff, just don't see how these apply yet. Let me explain.
I have all 10 slots occupied with implants. If I get one of these pirate implants, do I need to give up a slot? Or do they stack?

You can only have 1 implant in each of the 10 slots. If you get one of these, you'd have to unplug the one that's already in the slot that the one you got uses.
