No it isn't. Running 3 clients under WINE on linux, one of which uses max-ed settings, everything is fine.
What you're talking about is rather some routine, and some module lag and built-in delays - nothing of that is related to performance.

I want this A LOT.
Many games, most notibly many FTP games, offer mega HD textures as an optional ( free) download.
In my experience, and observations, HD textures do not use much more GPU or CPU resources, but simply more memory.
So for those of us with the hardware, and there are many, we would LOVE this. |
