Secondly, the whole import/export thing; it doesn't work. I saved my fittings on my home computer with the all xml option, then I bring them to work. It doesn't matter where I put the file, I cannot get xml manager to see it, let alone bring it in to EFT. Rating is explained in EFT FAQ. It's not shown for actively tanked setups because it's not applicable in such case (rating in such cases isn't a fixed number but a function of incoming DPS).
If you want to move your data from one EFT copy to another look for recommended way of updating in the FAQ for explanation which files you need to copy. Of course you can move just your setups with XML but this feature intended purpose is to import and export to EVE client so it looks for XML files only there where EVE client can save them to or read from: [MyDocuments]/EVE/fittings. |

i have a bit problem with Laser Type weapon with Falloff calculate it's stay the same as weapon discription and doesn't increase with tracking com / tracking enhancer or even change crystals . i don't know is only me or another people has same issue. |

Have to agree with a lot of recent posts on this thread. The two download sites for EFT are complete and utter crap. Both want me to upgrade, create account, give them my personal info, ect. Otherwise, it is absolutely impossible to get this file. Forget it. I don't need it that bad. |

While i agree, eve-files was easier, the second link worked fine for me.
Load the page, press download, get redirected, file download pops up.
It didnt even have of the misleading "download now" ad links.

Version 2.22.1 is out. Changes: - Shield Boost bonus from Siege Modules is a subject to stacking penalty now - Weapon Upgrades skill now affect Bastion Module - Mindlink implant descriptions were updated - ECM Bursts can be overloaded now
- XML import was changed to be more tolerant to file syntax - Additional attribute columns can be added to Fitting Panel now to make it easier to compare items. To do so, right click any attribute in Show Info window and check "Show on Fitting Panel". Any amount of attributes can be set to be shown but amount of additional columns is limited to seven, thus it could be possible that not every attribute will be displayed.

It seems you only - Tracking Computers and Enhancers work fine for me. Laser crystals change Optimal and not Falloff.

Think I've found a bug.
For some reason EFT doesn't calculate in the skill bonus for Transports like DST and Blockader Runners when switching between the default level 0 and level 5 skilled character or imported characters. Instead it seems to be stuck at all level 5 skills. However, it do calculate in the skill bonus for industrials depending of skills. And since both industrials and transport have skill bonus to cargo size you'd expect the value to change.in a smimilar manner for both types of transports. |

The error is ingame, the correct bonuses are to tracking links.
One error though, Bastion Module I is affected by the Energy Grid Upgrade skill so the module requires 7.5 CPU ingame, but in EFT it's not affected and still requires 10CPU. No sig. |

Please, pretty please, add an option to tune the reactive armor hardener to its optimal state with respect to the selected damage profile. Also showing the time it takes to arrive at this optimum would be even better. I hate arguing with static minds that relate everything relative to the status-quo. By definition these minds oppose logic, reason, posses a narrow view and object against solutions for issues that have half an existing workaround. Left up to them, nothing would ever progress!

I have a few questions about the tool and 2 suggestions for future updates.
Questions:
- Am I missing something or do you not have T2 Missile options when launchers are selected?
- How can I save my fits? I see under file, the ability to save all as one file, but i would like them separate.
Suggestions:
- There is a mis-spelling in the category title Defence (should be Defense), cosmetic only.
- Would you be able to make an MSI package with trusted certificate for install of this tool?

Awesome tool, I'm using it all the time.
One error I noticed while developing my latest tool:
The Shield Resistance Bonus of the Harpy seems to still be 5%. If you fit up an empty harpy it says 25% EM Resistance on shield, whereas e.g. a Merlin has the correct 20%.
But for some strange reason the Explosive Resists are the same (60%), while the base resistance is also the same (50%).
What's going on there?

Was able to save fit, im using t2 ammo with domination light missile launcher in game, but not able to get t2 on eft

EFT shows a Consumption of 600 Units, which suggests
1000 x 0,80 - 200
Whereas the Client shows me 640, which suggests
( 1000 - 200 ) x 0,80

When double-clicking modules in the left panel to fit to a ship, if you're not at the top of the list it will scroll back up upon fitting.

You can add the resist profile to the ship under Hull and Armor / Armor resistance Shfit Hardeners / The relevant one you want to do.
As for how long it takes to get to it, i think you'll need to do the math, i forget how often / how much it'll shift.

Can i make a feature request / suggestion though, reckon you could implement an "effective DPS" system similar to the effective tank? it'd be awesome to be able to put in a resist profile and then have it tell you how much actual DPS you will do, i realise this doesnt factor in tracking, speed, wrecking shots etc but it'd still be a good feature i think.
PS - is that paypal donation address still valid? i wouldnt mind sending a donation along just want to be sure before i start sending money to a random .ru address.... |

LOL i presume you mean why EFT is being marked as a virus BY norton.
I dont have that problem, i run NIS as well and have never had it do that, redownload maybe? (i'm just updating to the newest version, maybe its a problem there if you are still getting it?)

If all hints behave that way it must be your system which configured in a way to have such small hint delay.

DPS graphs factor in all the things you've named, including option to account for target resists. You just need to create a setup with desired resists and use it as a target.
