Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but just wanted to let you know in EFT it shows the prospect with 3 rig slots, but it only has two, been T2 and all.

It does work, but the process is confusing. When you click on the link, it'll take you to the download site. Click on "Slow Download". Next, fill in the Captcha and wait 60 seconds. Once the timer is done, click "Create Download Link". A couple seconds later, your browser should ask you about the download.

When I run 2.23.1 the error appears eft.exe is not a vaild Win32 program and gets deleted by Norton for being a threat. I have tried twice unzipping and copying it over to my eft folder like I always do. So I then have to copy back the older version to get it usable. Thanks in advance! |

I am using Windows 8.1 also but instead of that issue, my EFT wont paste anything from the clipboard. I paste it into Notepad just fine, so I know the data is there, but not quit sure why it wont paste into EFT. Also I am told that if I select EFT on the UNIWiki ship fittings, then copy the ship info to my clipboard, then select the EFT tool it is supposed to automatically pull up that ship. Does anyone have any insight on this issue? |

From the Norton wiki "SONAR.Heuristic.120 is a heuristic detection for processes based on certain attributes. "
So, EFT triggers some of their "certain" attributes, probably by talking to the network AND they don't know it, because very few people use it, so, according to Norton, the best course of action is to go to DEFCON 1. |

FYI - i had disabled my pricing updates to stop Norton clearing the exe, i've just turned it back on and norton isnt complaining anymore.
So it looks like norton sorted its ****, or the call that EFT was making has been cleaned up on the remote end to not look dodgy, either way \o/ |

Love this tool, but the download site chosen to distribute it is garbage. I can't stand it. The last three updates I've contended with the site just to download the file but with this last patch I'm just sick of it. I'll certainly be limiting myself to Pyfa moving forward.
EFT is an outstanding app, but the choice of download sites is atrocious. |

In other news, I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but if you look at the description of a Cynabal in EFT, it says in the role bonus:

whereas the kronos patch notes said cynabals get:

25% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret rate of fire
Considering the rest of the bonuses are still for projectiles instead of hybrids, I'm assuming its just a typo in the description, perhaps? But it may be worthwhile to check to see if the mathematics are including the attack speed for projectiles instead of a dmg buff to hybrids :D

Main download -> The site selected is not letting every countries download from it.
Alternative download -> They say the file is too big and can't be downloaded except by using their service.
In both case, no way to reach it directly, and not sure I can reach it without having to create
any account. Not exactly a "user friendly" kind of alternatives ways to download.
So please, use others sites that are not as problematics.
I really love that application, just hope to have access to it in the future, and not
having it restricted because of the download sites selected. |
