Hey all
**** happens many ppl say! well it happened to me yesterday.
I was killing some rat in a 0.4 sector. I was having a hard time killing the rat, but I was gonna kill it eventually... All of a sudden a pirate pops out of nowhere - me having 0 shield and 1/2 armor on my destroyer - shoots two missiles and my ship blows up. Pods me right after.
Now I am not here to whine, since I knew it was risky going into 0.4 space, but why did he kill me like that? He killed me like a coward, when I was almost dead. Do pirates always behave this way? And did he get a reward for killing me? Cozz he wasn't asking for money either...

Well... he got a corpse for his hanger.. and some modules off your ship. And a couple of killmails. The killmails will have gone up on a kill board somewhere, and he'll have another few points next to his name.
To be honest.. he didn't attack you like a coward.. because 90% of pirates wouldn't have had any trouble with a new player in a destroyer even if you'd been at full shields. PvP can be scarce... and as a pirate.. I generally kill or ransom anything I can find. (Though usually nothing younger than a month.. lol.. I'm all heart.)

unfortunately jack it seems as if you where greifed sometimes it happens that way next time dont bring a destroyer into a .4 system bring soemthing thats a bit bigger that way you at least have the ability to defend yourself a bit more.

Well at the end of the day, when all's said and done..it's just fun. Simple as.
But remember, you now have 24 hours of kill rights to extract revenge on this low life. He can be attacked anywhere; donĘt get mad, get even.
Good Luck

Hes a killer
hes hunting
he finds u in range and can kill you

I know its hard to understand but its as simple as that. He would of been hunting in a few systems and jumped on u, should he go oh "well IM REALLY a nice person" and let u go or "MUHAHAHAHA im evil DIE PUNK".

it does not have to be moneydriven, but I do like to keep some money on my account, and getting popped by pirates is not exactly profitable :)

I used to be appalled with poddings, I used to think of them as unnecessary and down right evil. Now I see that they are just the headshots of Eve. "Oh sweet kill! You got the pod as well!". I curse everytime I see the pod of my target/enemy warp away. That is why Im always packing smartbombs on my battleships =D

Because, average pirate is coward. Because, average pirate is able to kill only weak targets. Because, average pirate is sure that you will not get help/backup.
Do not care. Move upper into 0.5+ or monitor local channel most time

Look.. I don't know where this thing about pirates being cowards comes from. It's stupidity. We're trying to make a living in the game.. with a certain amount of roleplaying (I say Yarr a bit.)
I attack battleships at gates, a couple of times I've been solo.. (sentries got me once.. :) Just because I also attack destroyers and cruisers doesn't make me a coward.

I belive I saw you in Amamake. Which could explain the pirate etc...
I personally make it a point to kill newer players as often as I can. It comes down to the fact that If I dont kill them they just dont ever learn to watch out for pirates and then I come back later and have to blow up there first cruiser or Battleship because they cant pay the ransom.
So look at It this way if you had not been blown up then you would have probly been blown up later in a larger more expensive ship.

No, it is pirate physiology. Attack as weak targets as possible.

As I said it is pure physiology. The pirate is the coward.

It is lame excuse to kill innocent noobs on his first cruiser, isn't it, dude?

Pirates kill, its kinda what they do, doesnt matter if its your ship or pod, doesnt matter how old you are, they dont even care if you care, a kill is simply a kill, in all honesty pirates dont care what it is they kill, if its there it dies, your not much of a pirate if you let lots of prey disappear.

It has nothing with trolling. It is real life fact. Pirate is coward. What is wrong with this statement? Notice, pls, I do not state that you personally are coward, NO-NO-NO. But pirate Rasitilin is coward(tbh, with 80% probability ). And this pirate uses lame excuses to justify hiself behaviour.
Please, separate you as person from you as a game character.

Physiology? What's it got to do with the way his body is put together? And "Attack as weak targets as possible", as opposed to attacking the strongest he can find?
Oh, wait, i get it. YAATAICM5P.

Most ppl with half a brain would only attack someone they think they could beat, at least pirates try.
Most honorable carebears , miners and agent runners fall into the coward classification as most dont even fire back and half log.
They just do the uber warror thing and post with alts moaning about how they got owned by a 12 year old coward that has mental problems
Btw im 13 this week send me isk for prezzys
