We will have no part in such a macabre and illegal act - and we encourage all others to also ignore this shameful example of money madness.

To James Hawkings: come speak to us and we will provide you with a better option.

(We may well, however, match the bounty, corpse for corpse, with that of Roark, until he removes this travesty of "justice" from the public domain.)

By the way Mr "The Editor" what kind of business do you think you run anyways. I remember a long time ago we had a news organization that thought that they could infringe personal feelings in the universe and they were swiftly casted out, you better watch your tongue. No news org does such "Dirty Deeds" I think you are a front.

Oh and Joshua - if someone screwed up in a trade with me or sent me cash by mistake then I'd give it back (with a few exceptions Wink).

If someone gets a buy/sell market order wrong then I wouldn't. Roark had plenty of time to review his buy orders and correct any mistakes, but he didn't. "Tough luck - be more careful next time" would be my opinion.

I don't see where this differs from any other bounty. That the crime wasn't a pure shooting or podding and didn't leave Roark the option to put an ingame bounty is a shame, but posting a bounty in the forums instead is still well within the idea of a crime and punishment forum. Also the amount of 5 million per body isn't that large, the 500 million together for 100 frozen corpses is a larger amount, but again you could do the same effect on any person with an ingame bounty by just putting up a new one whenever that person is podded, whether it is 10 or 100 or 10000 corpses in the end doesn't matter, the statement is pretty clear "Until further notice there is a 5 million ISK per corpse of one James Hawkings"

James in not paying back the money from the obvious error which he abused chose to play the game in the big league where TTI and people with real money are, and now he can face the consequences of it. If he's lucky his 100million that he got from Roark might even almost cover all the clones that he should be needing...

I personally like Roarks approach and hard business dealings. Makes the game have some depth.

I think you can do a little better on your bship prices though Wink .

And what is to prevent James from making an alt, killing himself a bunch of times for the corpses, then having the alt(s) turn them over for even more of your money!

Wait, i just realized something. Instead of losing 50 million by giving James a Scorpion for your 100 million back, you are going to spend 500 million just to teach him a lesson? You have not thought about this carefully.

Idiots. Clearly this is a ploy by TTI to get the guy to pony the money up or basically lose his character. As for myself, until he does or TTI cancels, I'll nail a Hawkings for that money.

Even if it is 10, he would have still lost the 50 million he would have lost had he given him the Scorpion and James would still have the 100 million.

I must agree there. Even if you never see anything back of those 100 mill, I think it would be a better idea to take it as a lesson (which many ppl who work much with markets might have had to learn) and put the 500 mill you are putting up as an 'total' bounty into production to compensate as fast as possible for the loss. 'Wasting' another 500 mill on the initially lost 100 mill just to get 100 corpses from him (as far as I know they are not stackable, so much fun with hangar management Wink )to feed my hurt ego deems a bit exagerated to me, no matter how much money you have. You could simply have repeated the buy order for 1 Trit at 100 mill 5 times.

Just my oppinion on this matter
