Anyone seen that episode of the simpsons where they have the gross our contest? The advert is "How low can you go" and there is a piture of a guy pushing an old lady in front of a train?

Thats Roark, low. YOU made a mistake, a mistake which you can EASILY afford(you can tell that by the fact you talk about 800mil isk in buy orders you were putting out like its chump change) and then you try this stunt? Each and every week, TTI does something to degrade its image with the community as a whole, this is the latest thing. Il bet its not the last either.

I don't really see a problem here. I strongly doubt anyone needs more than a 1 million clone, Hawkings included.

If I would be him I would actually SELL myself for mhh.. 2 mils? in the trade channel. "Give me 2 mils & I will tell you where to meet to pod me."

One thing that's painfully obvious is the PR director of TTI should be sooooooooo fired. James is a former corpmate of mine and I can attest that he's cooler than a walrus' butt (perhaps as smelly Laughing (kiddin bro)).
At first I thaught the stupid tax for Roark is 999,999,999 isk. What? you don't look at the buy order tab? Now, he's going to make it 600 mill isk that he may or may not choose to pay out all of it. Besides that 100 mill will buy James a nifty BS.
James, myself, and a whole line of peeps got your back. (assumimg by damn IP stops sucking).
I'm usually no more than 6 jumps from where Stavros and his boys play, and will be there in a jiff to cover your back, and you can always hang with me bro.

TTi offered 100 mil for 1 unit of Trit and James fulfilled that order.

A Legal contract completed.

Its TTi's mistake. Live & Learn ...then move on.

I don't build the Miner 2s and neither does Taggart. I can buy for about 3.2 because of a pricing agreement, so 8 would have cost me around 25 mil. I see them going on the market for more than 3.2, thus I estimated a higher price.

Also the offer to give a corporation a battleship at cost that does not have a battleship BP is indeed a good deal. They would be hard-pressed to find this deal from anywhere else.

This game is one of two kinds of people:

a) Honest and hardworking businessmen who can understand an honest mistake and repay the money

b) sniveling kids that grab money in any circumstance and run away snickering in the shadows

95% of the people I deal with are in category a. I have no problem putting 500 mil bounties on group b. I suppose every galaxy has the bell curve of ethical behavior. I know where I fall and the vast majority of my excellent and trustworthy business partners.

As for my battleship prices, some say they are amazing, some say they suck. To those that say they suck, I say this, find me a better price and I will beat it. It has always been my policy and will continue to be.

All attempts to make me out as a lark or a loon or any of that nonsense falls on the deaf ears of the rational businessmen that turn the gears of the galactic economy. If I want to put up 500 mil in bounties because in my judgment there is a real bum out there, I am perfectly within my rights.

The entire point of my original proposal was to befriend Mr. Hawkings in the pursuit of long-term mutual economic gain for both he and his corporation. As the last crusader said, he chose....poorly.

do not forget that this was YOUR fault. he didnt sneak behind TTI's account and put up tritanium for 100,000,000 isk. you did. yes, you. not him, you. as in, not him. you put it up on market, and thats the same as someone putting a cargo can in space. (psst. that means "free game") also, it is the same as the courier mission which VHI's BATTLESHIP BLUEPRINT was lost in. like you said if you want to offer 500m worth of bounties on james go ahead, from the looks of things you will have to fight your way through m0o and half a dozen other renegades to get that piece of biomass. from a corp that breaks its spine patting itself on the back for following ayn rand and capitalism and pure moneymaking, you sure are throwing it all down the ****ter by holding half a billion isk up for grabs.

James, you have done nothing wrong. You just have a guy after you because he made a mistake. Instead of taking responsibility for his mistake, he is trying to push it off on you.

You made a deal to sell your Trit, the other guy's buy order consumated the deal. If the other guy didn't want to pay 100mil for a piece of trit, he shouldn't have placed the order.

Seems pretty simple to me. You saw someone wanting trit, you had some, you were nice enough to sell it to him.

What a superb idea to put-up a Galaxy wide mass murder hunt for some one. No matter whether it be justified or not, fantastic. If either myself or corp had such funds as this, believe me, this would be happening on a daily basis, with every one that has ever ****ed me off in this game, being hunted in a similar fashion. Fair play to you sir, may the corpses come rolling in.

Imo its an understandable approach to deal with such honourless creatures like J.H. And its a move of the arrogant super-rich, too.

If J.H would have been a clever person he¦d try to make a good deal out of it! Obviously he didnt.
But on the other hand, I can imagine J.H. would have given back the money to a "poor" guy and in this case told himself "TTI are that rich, they need to be screwed". But, still its honourless to do so. This is not Robin Hood - like, its simply stupid.

Btw - seeing moo massmurderers complaining about this approach is simply ridiculous. And where is tank ceo massmurderer # 123 here? maybe he thinks the same about this causa as stavros?
