As a armor tanker i dont think much about the -10%, but i wondered to see that that malu reduces the boost of shield boosters.
I was under the impression it affects the passive shield recharge rate of the shields, not any active boosting.

Not flown a raven in quite a while, but i tried this setup.. and seemed to work, this was on test and my raven skills are pretty basic.
High Slots : 6 seige, 1 nos
Med Slots : xl c5-l, 1 em, 2 invuls, 2 shield amps
Low Slots : 3 pdu2, 2 cap relay
slap his wrist, never put cap power rely on a caldari ship as many PDU's in the low'd as you can

PVP for small groups and 1v1's
6x arby siege
2x Heavy dim
1x XL II
1x Amp
1x Photon II
1x Heat disp II

Swamp out the Amp and XL for Gist-X mods and become indestructable 1v1 
Fro fleets strip the Nos, swap arby for siege II's, swap PDUII for BCU's and fill meds with jammers \o/

6x cruise II
xl boost II, boost amp, 2x invulni II, sensor booster, heavy cap injector.
3 BCU, Co-pro II (if needed), dmg control II(or the best named one)
And before *****ing that this doesn't have a scrambler... solo pvp in a battleship is fairly retarded, concidering that even if you do land in scramble range, most stuff has 1< stabs so it's just going to warp out anyway.

Hello, I am gonna use my raven for 0.0 belt hunting. So i will mostly kill a bs or two, with some cruiser and frig support. So no frig fleets here. Should i use cruise or torps then? Got about the same skills in both.
And what mid slots should i use if im only gonna fight sanshas?

Anything above BC, spam everything.
Cruisers and below, use cruise missiles.
Frigates, use drones or cruise missiles if you are rich enough.

hi i use a raven but i dont use a shield tank as i have to fight in 0.4 and 0.0 this is my setup
Highs:
4 x cruise luanchers t1's
2 x heavy dim nos
1 x standerd launcher (to kill small intys)
1 x prototype cloaker
Meds:
1 x t2 sensor booster
1x 20km scrambler
4 x cap rechargers
Lows:
1 x large 'acom' armor rep
3 x energized adaptive nano's t2
a cap relay or another energzied plate whichever u like
can u help me with this i love this setup but i think i could improve it in some ways can anyone help me plz

This is a standard anti-Serpentis setup.
High: 6x XT-9000 cruise launcher, 2x Heavy nosferatu I
Mids: 1x XL sheild booster II, 1x shield boost amp I, 2x ballistic deflection II, 2x heat dissipation II
Lows: 2x PDS II, 1x Photonic CPU enhancer I, 2x BCU II
This gives nice kin/therm resists (85/81) but the cap isn't so good. Anything I could change? (the XL booster eats cap)

It all depends on whether or not u are looking to fight or to run... that fitting seems unspecific to itself. If you want to travel in it... basically fit tank and wcs's (cloaker too yes). But if you want to PVP even PVE in it thats so wrong dude.
ok well 1. first of all you dont want to be sticking armor reppers on a raven... its a pure shield tanker, use its strengths.
2. take off the small launcher fit another cruise... Your drones will take PVE frigs out.
3. A raven is not really a bs built to be a tackler so take off the cap rechargers, a raven has uber cap compaired to most bs, fit PDU's to give you cap you need the mids for tank. (unlike the mega or domi which have superior drones and **** caps)
4. A lot of people may agree and disagree with me here but you should never undock without a wcs on... no1 has the money to lose bs's to lil friggies with a scram on (tht sux) defence comes first you need to know you can get away if need be.
CCP made a mistake in someways by giving the raven a chance to fit it out in a way many bs's just cant possibly do. And i mean its tank - damage ratio, its far better than any other bs out there for flexability in the fittings.
I heard of a fitting that sounds pretty fun, i havent actually tried but what the hell >>
hi: 4x seige/cruise, 4x NOS (you will kill them through cap, not so much damage)
mid: shield tanked with scram, the usual its quite flexible
low: 2xPDU's, 2xBCU (cause u only got 4 launchers), 1xWCS
I heard this setup pawns but darent try it... Its basically a tackler bs, sort of heading towards how you would fit out a mega only you got a way better cap :)

/me calls tackler squad to hit jenny with 5x 2 str scrams.

killed a nosdomi with my raven, he had wcs and tried warping.. didnt make it out.
well ne hows, my setup:
6x arb siege, 2x med nos (or replace 1 for drone augmentor, i find 60km range on 5x tech II drones effective)
1x XL booster (c-l5 ? pick ur flavour)
1x TP
1x 20km scram
1x sensor booster
2x multispec
5x bcu II (yea yea, anything beyond 3 is ineffective, but thats how i like my raven)
u can try 3x bcu + 2x PDU
