I don't see the sense in having the order of the characters in the character selection screen change related to what character was loged in last.
It would be much easier to have then retain their order. |

I have already posted this in other threads, just a minor set of notes about some small changes that I think should have been made to ISIS during testing, beyond which I see no issues. Big fan of it in general.
1. You need a "stealth" tag, otherwise some key information, necessary for new players, is notably absent. Why fly a Viator over an Occator? What makes SBs or Cov Ops interesting? etc.
2. The "Capital Industrial" group has no tags, even though the Roroqual does. This is not an issue for the Orca.
3. The Angel Cartel shipline is described as using both Armor Tank and Shield Tank, but on an individual, the dramiel, cynabal and machariel are only tagged individually with shield and NOT armor.
Supercaps are described as being worth 0 isk, I think that this might be misleading to noobs, who are the chief audience afaik, perhaps you can easily implement some other way that this UI resolves "no data" for price info rather than 0 isk, but that might be a very small issue and one that is UI-wide, so w/e.
5. Not necessary, but an improvement would be a tag for "resistant to warp inhibition." This would be very helpful to new players for seeing why certain hulls are desirable or interesting.
Otherwise ISIS is very good, great job, fun for old players to ogle, helpful for new players to get a sense of things. |

This may not be the correct place to bring this up (Devs feel free to move it if necessary) but in my opinion the "Ghost Sites are a little too rare, tomorrow will be 10 days since rubicon deployment and i've only seen one. I don't know what other players think but i've ranged out to low sec gates for hours and still nothing, If they're gonna be that scarce i'd be better off mining and paying the outrageous prices waunted for the implants or bpc's, stand a better chance of getting one that way. After having launcher issues (and before reading this topic, sadly) i de-installed EVE, hoping to do a clean re-install. But the normal installer doesn't work ("Target payload not found") and manually downloading the payloads doesn't work either. After clicking the link to download it just endlessly seems to be waiting for a server response. |

Can we please get these ships back to something closer to what they were before? |

I will offer you a dedicated free typhoon fleet issue with may be one off my frozen corpse good luck You should've started with this instead of going personal. Why should this ship be cheaper? I'm not interested in FW, but a T3 would go perfectly, some other cruisers and bcs. Obviously I'm not gonna join FW just to prove something on the forum (or just to get a ship), it's not so important to me. I have nothing against BSvsBS, I just said that catching stuff with bs is unpractical: you said about catching a target with bs and it looked absurd to me to (still does). Catching things with bs totally solo with no tackler alts and no fleetmates on tackling ships, for the lone purpose of "cleanly" soloing in bs.. it can be meaningful only for very big fans of such pvp. Tackler role doesn't suit bs-s.
Back to the topic: I agree that deceleration part of warp is too slow for bs. It's irritating and looks stupid. See this post https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=3913343#post3913343

Though, I'm not a KB fan (I like getting more and more kills, but that bare numbers don't mean much to me), I don't really care about someones KB stats if his words make or don't make sense to me. The new ship speeds are rediculously unfun. The bigger ships allready felt slow enough to align and warp imo. It's just the small ships that needed a little boost on acceleration and deceleration. All the rest should have been kept as was.
Now even cruisers make me want to punch babies in the face when I have to do more than 3jumps. I haven't taken out a bs or bc much since rubicon since it's simply not fun to move it around.
Align times we can fix by having travel modules fit but for warp speed there's only rigs that nobody is going to constantly destroy just to travel. Once again you added a mechanic into the game that could have been fun but you didn't implement it completely enough.
Start making a damned game of EVE instead of making it more and more a desktop background that just sits there and doesn't require user input. |

From Dev blog: Quote:The current design has the fulcrum set on T1 cruisers. If you're flying a T1 cruiser with no modifications to your warp speed then you will not notice any difference warping in Rubicon. Every ship that warps faster than a cruiser will see their acceleration increased (and therefore see significant reductions in overall time warping) and every ship larger than a cruiser will see their acceleration decreased (and therefore spend more time in warp). |

Overall, 5/10.
Rebalancing, while necessary, does not an expansion make.
Tweaks and changes to existing game content, for example the changes to "warp speeds", can be done, and have been done, with a plethora of minor patches at any give DT. Again, does not an expansion make.
The change to POCO mechanics in Low and High, while substantial, still just a tweak of existing material when you get right down it.
New personal/mobile structures -- quite cool in and of themselves-- plus the new SOE ships, and the "ISIS" system -- these three items pretty much account for the 5/10 right there.
I really hope RUBICON coming out early was because CCP is needing more lead time for a very, VERY impressive SPRING expansion.
5/10.

I'll give 9/10
Everything included is pretty great stuff, create new gameplay and enrichen the meta, really the only minus comes from there not being that much stuff included.
Obviously there won't be another massive rebalancing shakeup like T1 frigs and cruisers (which has proven to be the best EVE Online expansion ever, yielding endless enjoyment), so the current and future ship rebalances don't have the same wow-effect and more flesh in the expansion is probably needed. Notify-á-á You cannot do that while warping. |

Currently the new character selection skill training bar shows time remaining to complete skill which is currently in training. This information is secondary and I would rather see the time to end of current skill training queue than single skill.
Without evemon I would go crazy logging to all those characters just to see if there is another skill in queue after current one finishes.
There was a reason why "time to end of queue" was in old character selection screen. Someone just didn't bother to wonder why?

Overall audio controls are still from stoneage;
- No quick neocom button to turn music on/off (people do use multible clients) - No option to enable only mission musics - No option to throttle the sound effect volume relationship with the camera distance from ships (some people never zoom close enough to hear the sound effects that are there now) - No option to tune CQ flatscreen audio volume if using custom videos (with sound)

Live in WH space. Roll through dozens of HS/LS and w-space connections daily. Have never seen a Ghost site. Not. One.
Nevermind the fact that, judging from the screenshots I've seen of the scanner result showing a ghost site, they are nearly impossible to see in the scanner results window because they are: 1. the same color as everything else 2. listed as the same type as all other anomalies (the most common type of scanner result) 3. due to the poor UI design of the scanner result window seeing all of the content in that window would take up a very large portion of screen real estate

why on earth did you change drone grouping? I can't put two different drones in a group - what the hell is the point then of a group at all? I go to organize my new drones and frankly there's no longer any point. So I have to go through and pick out which ones I want to go do their thing, out of a fairly large list, and with not enough shortcuts as it is. It's just cumbersome. |

Also, 40 seconds reload time in rapid missiles with 19 salvos is fail.

I was thinking on this one, I'd like to suggest bringing Gravimetric (or Gravimetric - type ) sites back in addition to keeping the currently easier scannable belts. Make the Grav sites 1/2 point more valuable in order to reward the effort of using the probes to scan it down. It'd make for a conceptual stair step for mining and scanning together. Miners/players learn to use the scanner for better belts, then learn to further use the probes for a little better reward.

My reason for (Gravimetric - type) was in case the Gravimetric mechanic is being reused for another aspect of gameplay. Perhaps the probe-scannable belt could be one found via Ladar along with Gas mining.
Another bit of feedback from Rubicon is that it seems that while the SOE bump has given a new bit of content via exploration ships, it's also shown that there seems to be a lack of alternatives to ganking for some. I'm not sure what would substitute for that activity, as PVP in low-sec is available, but not as lucrative, if I understand the reasoning correctly? |

ISIS OBELISK mastery suggestion:
since one needs to learn Advanced command to lvl V to learn Gallente freighter I, should not Freighter I through V be the increases in mastery of Navigation and not advanced Command?
I can have adv. command V and still not learn Freighter I therefore how can I have lvl V mastery of a ship I can't fly?
obviously Adv command V is needed at even lvl I mastery of an Obelisk. and to truly earn a lvl V mastery of an Obelisk requires lvl V Freighter.
Thanks for listening. |

Some Feedback for the long deployment explorer stratios. So here's my story:
I tried to build a ship that is able to do stuff for weeks without supplys. For that I included small armor and hull remote repairers to fix up damaged drones, covops cloaky and probe launcher of course, a salvager, data and relic hacking modules, a cargo scanner just in case, an afterburner (need to switch that to a mwd asap) and some tank in the lows. Since I planned to get the most out of this beautiful ship it's mostly fitted faction and some 'plex modules. Also I got some spare fitting and a mobile depot with me for quick refits.
I'm out in space now for three or four days I think, traveling through high, low, null and unknown space doing all sorts of things. I made a good deal of money, found some interesting stuff, had alot of fun and even watched a russian capital/titan fleet formup. That was fun :)
However: When I return I will sell that ship. Why?
When I look in my cargohold I can see 200m isk of salvage goods, 60m ISK in blueprints, another 100 in datacores and another 50 of other stuff. So most of the time I went for relic and data sites. The tank is just way too weak for anything else. The limit is somewhere in C1 Wormholes, 3/10 ded complexes and.... well thats pretty much it. The damage is quite fine though but without tank pretty much useless. I did not try a dual rep setup yet but I dont expect much of a difference. 5 low's just isn't enough for a decent armor omnitank
A decent advantage could've been the hacking strength but both hacking rigs require 200 calibration so the stratios can only fit one of them. Can I call for quick covert backup using a covert cyno? I dont know to be honest but I think the answer is no.
I just dont see why I would want to use the stratios as an explorer. The Covops frigates are almost instant in warp, can fit both the hacking modules, travel alot faster, still can do all the exploration sites and a anathema costs less than 10% of a stratios. If I want to fight while exploring I take a T3 Cruiser. Might be more expensive still but immunity to bubbles combined with really fast warp speed and some warp core stabs make this ship nearly unstoppable. With the stratios I have to proceed really slow and careful because even a small nullsec gatecamp means "goodbye stratios". Also a T3 will have more tank and even more damage. The only advantage of the stratios seems to be the larger cargo bay.
For PVP however the stratios seems awesome. Alot of ewar combined with tons of damage and some armor plates with a cloak looks quite nice to me but for that purpose the ship is a little too expensive for my taste. I see the problem in the task to create a nice allround solo ship for exploring without by accident having a totally overpowered ship in pvp but the way it is now it's not really clear what the stratios is intended for - with already existing ships in mind.
Well I'm not complaining, just giving some feedback here.
Suggestions: Double the hacking bonus so the ship sets itself apart from covops frigs and T3 cruisers. Add one Lowslot and change the resistence bonus to a repair amount bonus. Also drop that turret range bonus, rather give the ship some bonus for a MWD, like less capuse or something. |

- In the certificate panel (and other places), the level 1 mastery icon is represented by a "I" (for "1"), but there's a dot under the "I" and it makes it look like an exclamation point (important), when it's not.
- The sound when hovering over a ship in ISIS is annoying and wholly unnecessary. The overall ISIS ambiance noise is O-K.
- I'd like to be able to stop the autoscan every time I jump into a new system. The flash+sounds are distracting and completely unnecessary when you're not interested in scanning sites. It can default to 'on' for new players so they know it exists.
- The screechy sound for the timer resetting every time I kill an NPC is abominable. This may be an older issue but I'm returning so it's new for me :p |
