EVE Online: Rubicon, the 20th free expansion for EVE Online, has been successfully deployed!
Rubicon brings the rebalancing of a number of ship classes, along with a whole host of new features including four new mobile structures, new ghost sites, Sisters of EVE faction ships, player owned high-security customs offices, warp acceleration changes, the Interbus Ship Identification System, a new character selection screen and improvements to the fleet interface.

Untranslated text in ISIS for Russian GÇö translations are missing for FactionDescriptions, ElementDescriptions, and GroupDescriptions; TypeBonusNames are in EN for all clients.
Unable to loot the Siphon module if you are not the owner
Mobile DepotGÇÖs shield recharge time is at 35 minutes instead of 24 hours.
GÇÿWetuGÇÖ Mobile DepotGÇÖs sensor strength is 200 points instead of 250 points.
Mobile Depots do not activate if they have brackets disabled throughout the deployableGÇÖs anchoring period. (Workaround GÇô leave grid and come back)
Show Info is unavailable for ships that are not displayed in ISIS

hello,
found some bug.
1. Started the launcher as usual. 2. Launcher updates 3. Launcher got broken due to some failure. Report: check your launcher log etc It was written there that some data can not be retrieved.
Workaround
1. Go to your EVE directory on your computer. 2. Click through to "launcher" --> "cache" 3. run "updater.exe" 4. This will take some time as an old version of a launcher will be installed. 5. Run your launcher via your usual shortcut (on your desktop). 6. Launcher will now update to current version. 7. After update, the launcher will close. 8. Reopen the launcher and the patch for Rubicon will be downloaded and installed.
I hope I could help you if you run into the same issue. |

My launcher started briefly and now only says
"See the log file '.......2.1.643940.win32\launcher.exe.log' for details"
this is a win7 32 bit ****** laptop. |

Launcher broken. Receive "Error occured" window with "See the logfile (program files\CCP\EVE)\launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.643940.win32\launcher.exe.log" for details.
Noticed new directory: (program files\CCP\EVE)\launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.655067.win32\, ran launcher.exe from this directory, works fine and patching game. Appears "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" is still pointing to old launcher.exe version. Using Windows 7 64-bit. |

Also getting launcher issues, sometimes the same .log error, sometimes it gets stuck on installing and nothing happens. |

I hope I could help you if you run into the same issue.
It works. Also if you have multiple clients and one doesnt have the updater.exe you can copy it to the installation directory that is missing it. Be sure to change the installpath though when updater.exe ask you.

I just did this. I am downloading patch as I type . Server showing ONLINE. JUST FOLLOW THIS and you will be in-game as fast as your ISP will let you DL

CCP Falcon, you're telling people to delete the Odyssey version of the Launcher for an older version, but why did I get a newer version of the Launcher and can use it? Shouldn't everyone have my version (2.1.655067)? |

I increased number of download threads and the option to close the launcher after launching. These values (or anthing else) is stored. |

Also sets the Delete patch after use to true !!!! I have 2 other clients to patch and I'll Not be a happy bunny at all if I have to wait for 1.2 GB @ 3.9 Mbps more than once!!!! |

NOPE ... doesn't save the settings at all ... tried setting , saving ... going back and they're back to 5 thread and delete patches.
Tried setting, saving, closing and reopening and again it's back to 5 threads and Delete patches after use. |

If you are experiencing launcher issues, please follow these steps to fix it: 1. Go to your EVE folder, enter "launcher" directory. 2. Once there, you'll find "launcher.exe" and "launcher.old.exe" 3. SImply renaming launcher.old to launcher.exe may not work. Right click on launcher.old and select properties. This will open another window.Rename launcher.old to launcher and click ok. CLose all windows you have opened before launching Eve to prevent any "file in use" conflicts. Keep Calm and Eve On. |
