Yeah tie on one more for not being able to get the icons fixed, and yes, I cleared my cache and i've a Macbook Pro which has the most recent OS X version so the graphics card must be up to date.
Something to note, every time I clear my cache, the icons change. But then they all glitch again so they're all the same. Extremely hard to tell which ships are which. This affects ships, drones, and systems, but none of my actual fittable modules in my hangar.

People and Places Alphabetical Keyboard Stroke Search:
- Searching using alphabetical keyboard strokes under People and Places doesn't center the view appropriately... but instead misses
Post-Warp Lock Interference Bug:
- After clearly landing on grid, I receive the notification that "06:17:42NotifyInterference from the warp you are doing is preventing your sensors from getting a target lock on [target]" when I've clearly and visibly exited warp for roughly a second.
Camera Auto-Zoom After Gate Jumping Animation:
- After jumping through a stargate and watching the gate animation, the camera zoom level doesn't restore to the pre-jump distance or orientation. Instead, the view is zoomed tightly onto your ship. |

I am aware my workaround does not help in 100 % of cases but it is a common solution. Furthermore I am aware the launcher update I linked is really old but it is a working one, so sorry if you need to download the launcherupdate for a long time.
I came up with this workaround as I had the exact same problems with the launcher as you had and I realized I had this issue already a couple of patches ago. This might not be the perfect workaround but it is working in most cases.
For those getting stuck on patching or the launcher. I can guess reboot your machine, clear your cache if able and start all over again will help.
In worst case you really need to delete / uninstall your client and perform a clean installation of EVE.
Final words
I am happy that I could help you guys but please be aware I am not CCP and just posted a workaround that worked for me. I am sorry if I this workaround did not help you. |

Two small things:
- The rapid heavy launcher has no animation in the preview window
- The camera doesn't remember its zoom position when jumping through stargates or docking/undocking without changing ship (also sometimes it zooms in crazy close, but I think this has been reported before)

I've got a problem getting the Launcher to start.
I've tried repairing, and even reinstalling all of EVE.
I get a window up named "Exception" In that window there is a "Traceback (most recent call last):" and after that alot of text/code.
I get the option in the window, to "Close" or "Start EVE"
When I "Start EVE" I get the Old Old login-screen.

Also, new character selection screen - I'm not seeing the ship preview, and this means I've no way of telling what ship I'm in at all. This means new character selector has LESS utility than before. I've tried changing all graphic settings to max, but still can't get the preview to show. Any suggestions? Is it dependent on a certain graphics spec?
Curiously, we had a chance to destroy and loot some SMAs and CHAs last night. The drops were less than satisfactory, but that's not CCP's fault - just confirming that ships did drop. But, Kill mails on the CHAs were patchy - some showed no loot drops at all, when there clearly was loot. May be that kill mails for POS modules are not working as intended. We will test this feature more as opportunity presents.
Also, WH warp to flare noise, happens when cloaked ships warp to the hole at range as well. This is a little game-breaking, as scouts now have a new tool. Looking forward to this being fixed - unless it's a feature.
And nearly forgot - I've tried clearing cache, but many module icons are still black.

In DX11 mode, I have to manually set the "Present Interval" setting to "Interval Immediate" every time I start the client, it won't remember the setting and revert to default "interval one" each time.
Highly annoying for anyone not wanting their FPS artificially capped. |

A few bug/annoyances I encountered since Rubicon:
1. The "humming" sound of wormholes is almost completely gone. I have to crank up the volume and zoom into it @ 0m to barely hear it. Same with the sound when u jump through a wormhole. (My sound settings were the same as before exp.)
2. Camera auto-resets after wh/gate-jump, sometimes when that screen is in focus and every time its not in focus, (as in running in the background due to running multiple clients) .
3. Tab'ing between clients is painful. Before, I could tab between clients, either directly or via desktop/windowsbutton without problems. Now, it often just flickers my screen and it jumps out to desktop or back to the client I was tab'ing from.
4. There are also several ppl who experiences lots of disconnects. This turned out to be (in most cases) due to running DX11. These ppl ran DX11 before expansion without problems. The problem seemed to disappear when they switched to DX9 instead.

After the patch the Eos and Nighthawk (I could fly pre patch) are now saying I still have 15 days training as it now required :
Information Warfare lvl 5 and Skirmish Warfare level 5 ??
Only notes on them I can find in patch notes is the change in model (and screw up of invention).
Is this a bit of a booboo or a stealthy way of making them even less worth considering unless ur actually going to use those gang links ?! |

I am not sure if this is a bug or if it is intended behaviour:
When right-clicking an item in station, in a container, or in the "Assets" view, the option "Split Stack" is no longer offered. The only way to split a local stack is by shift-dragging it. Remote stacks can only be split through the contracts interface.
It is not a big thing because there is a work-around but it is also not an improvement of the work-flow for a busy carebear (and probably others) so I hope this is not the intended behaviour but a bug that will be fixed eventually.
