The Subject says it all...
I came to EVE more than 2 months ago, patiently waiting for my character pic to show up on these forums. Every suggestion to BE PATIENT, or to POST HERE, has been a futile attempt at best.
This game is hell bent on community promotions. It survives on it. Having your avatar pic on these forums is crucial to player identity and furthermore gives the player a sense of OWNERSHIP.
There is NO EXCUSE for our avatars not being incorporated into these forums after an acceptable tolerance period has elasped.
CCP... give me a reason to be silent about this issue, and I will abstain. Give me no reason, and I'll continue to ask WHY those of us who have come into this game in good faith, and deserve an equal community recognition graphic in the form of our avatar pics, should not be totally ****ed off at your continued disregard to our requests.
Those of us who have recently joined over the last several months pay the same monthly fee as the rest of the players who DO have avatars.
And that's my beef.

First rule of project managment solve the important problems first.. forum avatars are not really crucial to be honest. If you haven't noticed CCP just renovated thier entire server architecture. And they are hard at work getting out the blood patch (new races 4tw!).
I stopped paying attention to avatars about a month after I started playing this game. Make a unique signiture, it defines you more than a hardly visible 64x64 picture of your ingame character.
My domi is pretty ugly
It's tech II drones do the deed.
And that thorax ramming me fits oh so snugly.

First rule of CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is DELIVER WHAT THE CUSTOMER IS PAYING FOR... and having an avatar on these forums is part of that bag.
If you havn't noticed, there are THOUSANDS of players currently without an avatar, and they have been waiting patiently for them for MONTHS.
WE DID. We waited patiently. Our patience now is THIN.

Aside from that i never read anywhere, that the forums are part of what you pay for, you are *****ing about something so goddamn unimportant i just wish you would run your head against a wall to get some things inside of that capholder of yours straight.
Did you read what CCP just accomplished, easily within schedule i might add ? Well maybe you have, but are those shortcircuited synapses you are displaying here able to comprehend what that means ? I doubt it.
So, let me make this short'n sweet for you : GET A F******* LIFE, GO OUT,LAY SOME CHICKS, TAKE A NICE DUMP,HAVE SOME BEER and most important of all...if you are caring about ****, make sure it is important and not ridiculous.
On a sidenote, the forums are a SERVICE, you pay for playing EVE, not for being able to spread bull****** here of look at some retarded avatar,ffs.

Calm down. The reason your avatar is not updated is because it's updated with content patches only. And they used an exact replica of the previous TQ server when they swaped. |

I'd say when it comes to customer satisfaction CCP made the right choice with making everyone else happy with the new tranq cluster than making YOU happy with a forum avatar.

How is it irrelavant? On the forums, your sig is used a lot for that. The sig gives an idea about the player, and the portrait on the forums is way less important than macro miners in jita selling their made isk online.

The OP is right, 2 months, cmon? thats a long time and its nice to see someone that cant wait anymore. i would go nuts! hes valid in every point and i dont see it as him being mad, his making a stand, he wants it fixed now because he has waited and he has been patient and he has done what was required from him, now its been 2 months and hes right.
The OP is also right about avatars being important to eve. their who you are and eve is probably the game that avatars matters the most from any other game, its your id. avatars matters alot! dont know what dream you have been playing.
Heres someone thats waited and waited, now hes had enough and everyone complains and tells him to wait. LOL 2 months man.. thats alot of time for something that identifies him on these boards. and yes avatars do matter alot.. otherwice he wouldnt care about it. and u could use some better words, not even I use sutch messed up kid words..
