Hey hey hey now, CCP has to pay the electric bill just like everyone else. Just go into your wallet, under the corporation tab, click the sub tab that says bills payable, and then right click the bill to your electric company and choose "Pay Bill".

Otherwise they will send the repo men to Polaris, and that wouldn't be good, would it?

I have no issues whatsoever with running 9 accounts + FFXIV on my 8 gig machine, for usually 23 hours a day. Are you sure it's an EVE issue?

I only want them if they are easily controllable, Sansha's will do. But definitely not Gallente! That's all I need, Hammy's that have a strong sense of free will :P

Update 15:08 UTC: The issues encountered are bigger then at first believed, so downtime has been extended until 15:35 UTC.

Latest update is that downtime will last until 15:35 UTC. It seems that the issue was greater than at first expected.

Seems like someone was busy at the Game Master's Lounge in polaris with their exotic dancers and didnt remember to put fuel in the POS. This could be awhile.

power issues sounds like an outside problem. how are your techs working on it this is confusing. beside that i love how vague CCP always is when there is a problem. a quote from CCP "it is broken and we are working on it" not lightning hit the building and we are making sure that the server is ok.

I would have to agree with this one. At most, EVE uses 786mb/client on max graphics and on 1080P while sharing system RAM with my dedicated Radeon HD 8970. I can run 6 clients effectively before needing to turn down graphics.

Windows 8 is a severe memory and CPU hog however, so its possible that trying to multibox on that particular OS might be more resource intensive. It is, after all, not an OS designed for Gamers.

If you have a quad or 8 core processor, try setting affinity for each exefile.exe process to have 2 cores each. So if you're running 8 clients, set core 0 and 1 to client 1 and 2, core 2 and 3 to client 3 and 4, and so on. EVE can run on a dual core no problem.

Could be possible they're rerouting power. I was in the middle of patching on my amazing 14kb/s net when the news popped up on the launcher, still completed the patching so there isn't any problems there, so they might just reroute racks to that server.

Or you could use ISBoxer, it's really good at giving you a suggested CPU setup for multiboxing...

Should use it anyway, I cannot imagine how you play this game with more than two or three accounts without it without going completely insane...

well, launcher says TQ is offline, but, one account is logged in at the moment, so evidently TQ is in fact online.

However, it is again experiencing significant issues so another emergency reboot of TQ is necessary. We expect the downtime to last 30 minutes.

We will update this thread as we have more information.
