Ladies and gentlemen of New Eden, I have recently acquired, as a private investor, a number of shares of Galactic Parcel Service (GPSx). I have been selling these shares on the sell orders forum in this thread. I have gotten nothing but positive feedback from people, as you can see. If you look midway down the second page of that thread, you'll see a post from none other than the esteemed Serenity Steele asking to buy 1,000 shares. Normally I've been requiring people to send me the cash first, then I send them the shares. But surely the CEO of ISS can be trusted to pay for the shares if I go ahead and send them, correct?
I send Serenity Steele the following evemail, after I sent her 1,000 shares:

taken the liberty of sending the shares to you already; if you could send over 25m isk when you get the

You can imagine how surprised I was to find this evemail in my inbox this morning, from none other than Serenity Steele:

I see I have the shares, but I'm not sending you 25m because you're not in the ESEC or GSEC Corp.

How can I be scamming her if she has the shares and I DON'T have the money? What does my corporate affiliation have to do with anything; I am a private investor and never claimed to be affiliated with GSEC or ESEC or any other corp. If she has 1,000 shares of Galactic Parcel Service in her wallet, and she has not sent me any money for them, who does that make the scammer?
Serenity: Surely you aren't a scammer. You run a corporation with in excess of 200b in assets. Why would you receive 1,000 shares of stock worth 25k per share and then refuse to pay for them? If you don't want the shares anymore, please return them to me.
For anyone who thinks I'm making this up, screenshots are available at your request (evemail me your email address and I'm happy to forward a screenshot to you).

i personaly find ISS some of the most untrustable pilots in the game, not all of them by any means as i know there are some good pilots and some awesome pilots involved,
However i do think that this is just a mistake by Serenity, however, a mistake by some one of this magnitude and who is responsible for so many billions of isk and a corporation who can cause massive problems can only be a reason to rethink your ISS investment, i know i certainly will.

I know I have purchased shares from you for 37.5 million and I had no issues whatsoever.
Guess you really shouldn't even trust Serenity. Makes one wonder what kind of backyard deals she is making in the name of ISS.

edit: I actualy still have your eve-mail that stated if I wanted to go with a third party I could. However, I trusted you and would do so again in the future. Until Serenity comes clean, I won't say the same about her.

I sincerely hope that's all it is. I cannot imagine Serenity intentionally scamming someone out of a measely 25m when she is worth billions! Still, I thought it appropriate to bring this matter to the attention of the community. Hopefully it is just a misunderstanding and she will rectify it when she is online next.

its happened to iss before. you see, you can make an altcorp with similar or leetspeak name/ticker, and try and sell shares in the altcorp. they are, of course worthless, but there it is. someone tried to do it with iss borealis shares

Understood, but these are REAL Galactic Parcel Service shares. Ask anyone in the other thread who has bought them from me. Serenity Steele herself can verify that they are the real thing.

Understood, but these are REAL Galactic Parcel Service shares. Ask anyone in the other thread who has bought them from me. Serenity Steele herself can verify that they are the real thing.
Smart thing to do would have been to talk to her and sort out the misunderstanding instead of coming here and trying to publicly brand her a scammer

I just checked my wallet and my mail. I have the same number of shares and the same amount of cash as I had when I posted this thread. If it IS just a misunderstanding, please either return the shares or send me the money for them, and I will PUBLICALLY apologize. Like I said in the title, the fact that you haven't paid me for the shares or returned the shares to me, is, quote "unreal." That means it's mind-boggling. That means it doesn't make any sense. Nonetheless, it's true. Do you deny sending me the evemail which I quoted above? Do you deny that you have 1,000 shares of GPSx stock?
