It was CFC who jumped Dreads into the overloaded grid not N3PL. That happened its not a narrative, or a conspiracy. It was just a dumb tactical decision.

For the division-impaired, that's an 84% increase. That number probably doesn't directly translate to an 84% increase in the number of active drones on field at any given point, especially given the extended duration. Even so, it does indicate a substantial increase in drone usage in HED over 6VDT. Now, for why that's a problem. Drones plainly do more than just guns GÇô guns go pewpew, drones approach, orbit, go pewpew, then come back and like do some decision making of their own along the way. Drones dont cause lag was stated by a high ranking and higly regarded member of the N Three Coalition- along with: Sentry Carrier blobs are here to stay and shall never be touched forevermore and henceforth! That seems like a silly argument to make though. I thought this game was about joining other real people and blasting apart the pixels of other real people. Granted nerfing drones because doesn't fix the problem it just pushes it under the "undesirable for use" rug. Like they did to Heavy Missiles making pretty much most cruiser/BC missile chuckers crap in PVP. But I don't think drones should shrink PC access to the game. (that being said the Dread situation was completely different and largely unrelated to drone imo...I think there is enough historical evidence that suggests its never a good strategy to jump a mass of dudes into a loaded grid...drones or not, tidi helped that but didn't erase it.)
