Surely not the real El Capitano...
If it really is you sir, I would quite possibly have your love children to hear one in the style of say, Manta...
To the OP, nice work. Ignore the trolls. You have inspired me to dust off my copy of Reason and have a ***** at a few of Mr. Hallur's tunes myself.

Originally by: fuze Sure John said he's ok with it. But he should have asked him before posting the mp3. Not to think of it is logical but could have gotten you into trouble. And since the UK law for copyright/music is quite stric nowadays (the link is hosted on a UK srv) John or another entity having the rights of that song could have demanded by court to take down the song and ask for compensation. Sure its to blaim to the wretched record label industry but for me it's every day reality. (Same goes for listening to crappy demos)
Demand compensation? Did you read what I posted earlier? Even if they were like that, CCP has no standing to sue anymore. -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?

I like the tune, too. "Still listening to it".
And don't feed the copyright trolls. I'm sure CCP can fight for themselves without their help. --

Would you like the moon on a stick with that?
I'm like the King of Procrastination or something. The fact that I completed one track is a miracle.

Its an amazing tune and it very much feels like Eve to me. You did this in one evening?
CCP should hire you...

I did it over a day or two of sporadic composing, EVE-playing and general procrastination.
They really shouldn't. They've already got Jon, who is uber. I'm uh... not uber.

Nope. In fact my musical output is really quite sparse. I'm too lazy, uninspired, and without drive.

Not too shabby at all Januchi.
Good Job!
I agree with some of the other posters though. If this something done for release (i know it's not. Just thinking out loud) then i's imagine being one of the 3 other mixes on the vinyl rather than the main one.
Keep the swirly pad sound...ditch the bleeps and give the kick drum some more wellie! Adam Beyer it! Or think Dave Clarke....not so much swirly pad with Dave Clarke..........

hmm, i honestly hate this kind of lazy electronic music, but this sounds pretty good, definitely good to listen to in the eve setting, well done.

The "bleeps" were a bell/chime-like sound in the original... or "glingle" as I think of them.

Tempting, but it still depends on whether I get something going that I like. If I think it sucks then there's no way anyone else will be hearing it.

Great job!
Red Glowing Dust was always one of my favorites too, as is Below the Asteroids. I'd love to see that one as well.
I guess a lot of people don't necessarily know some of the tracks in the resMusic.stuff file. Definitely worth a listen - like the industrial sounding Minny tracks.
Gallente004 could probably get the makeover treatment?

Not by me. I don't find it at all interesting. Gallente002 however... just... wow. Love it.

At the start I thought, oh **** another crappy trance remix but as I listened more it grew on me and I actually quite enjoyed it. I've always liked that track in it's original form and you definately added to it in a good way. It's very well put together.
There are other tracks begging to be done
I'd love to hear a remix of "I saw your ship" I love it's calm ambience.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I meant that it doesn't sound very appealing to me as it is (particularly the drum patches), not that you ought to do a remix out of love for it.

I still say that if ANY tracks require re-loving, it should be the Caldari tracks from ResMusic. Oriental woodwinds, drums and strings. You know you want it.
And I like Gallente004 for what it is TBH. Synthpop screams "Gallente pop culture" like nothing else. -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?
