Nice beat, still sounds like Red Glowing dust, I like it Glad it's not a cruddy trance remix of an otherwise good song like many remixes of game music I hear.

Now this is nice.
I'd definitely love to see what you can do with Below the Asteroids, too.
(BTW, if you're out on the roads and really-really want to be sure no ebil policeman pulls you over, chuck in the EVE soundtrack CD. Mellows you down to legal-ish speeds right away. What happens when me and my mate's usual music's on you can guess... >.< )

very nice, smooth too...relaxing and etheral would be the best way to describe this track.
great job, I might be making a video for the corp in the future (2 months or so from now?) and would be curious about using this music for it.

I like it very much. Red glowing dust was always a favorite of mine.
I have seen the Arctic Circle... And it is round. |

And so the pressure builds!
I've just been playing it on the keyboard... and it sounds much better in my head. |

Go ahead. Just be sure to credit Jon and myself (as Whiteraven).

I demand a complete remix of the entire EVE soundtrack made available with later patches also in the client!
I demand more new works from Jon Hallur!
I demand more EVE-ish music to listen to!

Not bad for a beginner.
The arrangement and progression is nice but it's filled with cliche type sounds and it lacks depth.

Sounds great mate, keep it up!
I'm personally a big fan of the Minmatar songs found in the res files. Besides that I like "We Fight Proud For The Holder" which is good as it is, "EVE of Battle" which is also excellent as it is, and "Smoke From Down Below" which would be suitable for a remix

It's weird how everyone wants Below The Asteroids. It must be the most popular track in EVE!
I now have a sequence with all the notes at the correct timings for this track, but sorry to disappoint you guys - it probably isn't going to be the next thing I work on. It'd be way too easy to turn it into another blippy tune and I'm not feeling inspired enough to give it more depth.
Instead I've just started work on a remix of "Lost Wormhole" in a different style. As with the Red Glowing Dust remix I don't expect it to be anything groundbreaking (I don't possess Jon's leet skillz), but I'll try to at least make it interesting. If I get it finished that is...
Stay tuned.

I like it
I really brings out the Jarre in my music.
I think your are too modest by calling this a remix, when it really is a remake.
If you have any problems with the melodies to any other remixes of my songs you might do, I can most likely dig up the session and export the MIDI file.

Hehe! That's what I said too. I think it's those blips that do it.
I don't know... as frustrating as it can be, it's probably more rewarding for me to work out the notes myself. I'll have your studio though if you don't mind.
Anyway, back to work on Lost Wormhole. It sounds rubbish right now because I was forced to work with cheap headphones last night.

I genreally hate trance/dance music, but that kicked ass
I have a proposition for you if you'd like to talk about it.
If this is an alt, can you contact me with your main, or contact me when you get in game if you're interested.
Thanks, and good job on the track, it sounds great.

Nice, I like it. <downloads to ipod>
Mr Hallur's work reminds me of the 'Exxos' 'Spice Opera' CD that came with the original Dune game, better though :)

Holy jeebus. This is, like, the first time I've ever seen Jon post on the EVE forums in five years of following EVE.
Good job Januchi, you finally got him out of the sound cave.
Anyway. Lost Wormhole next, eh? Not my favorite but I'm always willing to listen to something with a new spin. -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?

Not your favorite - isn't that a good reason to remix it?

Well I'm glad people seem to be enjoying it. Feels good to have actually finished a piece of music after procrastinating for so long.
