Oveur: I don't see anything...
Shark: Oh, I was confused. I must be working too hard on this next patch. Maybe I should take a day or two off to... uh... relax and get some rest. Yeah, that's it.
Oveur: Sure, take the rest of the week off.

I've been curious about devs in major alliances, and players using exploits.. I've seen and had good reason to believe that my enemies have used less than legit "features", and now and again you might hear of a guy experiencing an exploit (ie. "omg, i just removed myself from local" a few months ago).
Do the devs witness such things and feel inclined to act on them immediately, or is it something you just try to overlook and get fixed asap?

If that is the case and you do not want speculation from players, why on earth did you post this on the forum? If you have a question for CCP itself, then why did you not "Ask A Question". If you post a topic like this on the forum you are bound to receive random speculation.
Anyways back to the actual topic, I think that it is irelevant who they are with. It seems clear that the main reason you want to know is so that you can wag fingers and claim favouritism. If the devs and co were favouring specific alliances then over time this would show and there would be hell to pay.
More than that, have you ever played single player games? Did you ever use cheats? How much playability do you get out of the game then? Not much I always found. "I win" buttons ruin games, so I really do not think that the devs would be doing such a thing. They work and play EVE so it really is their life, why would they want to screw it up?

Asking something on the forums, provided it shouldn't be secret, can be good, because if you get an answer you share it with the community. The bad part is of course that you might not get an answer since devs and GMs aren't required to post answers to everyones questions. But you also have to be prepared that other players will give your their opinion and discuss it.
So it's all good, nothing to argue about.

Not a chance :). Aside from the fact I've seen several alliance leaders in the same place as devs, do you have any idea how much time 'running' an alliance actually takes?
Keeping track of politics, interminal convo spamming, evemail spamming and generally being 'the guy' that everyone needs to talk is quite a lot of effort.
I'm glad that everyone in CCP plays. I think they _should_. It's important to stay 'in touch' with what's going on in the game. All aspects of it. But it's much less important that anyone ever know who and where and how the 'staff' play. (Well, perhaps a breakdown of favourite activities might be interesting some day)
'Normal' players who get famous (e.g. fleet commanders) get called primary on the battlefield.

Ok, now I understand what's going on... Macro miners aren't being cleared because it's actually the DEV's trying to supplement their income because CCP pay em minimum wage 
As someone hinted at earlier - the Devs playing this game is a good thing - it means they actually feel the same pain as others when things aren't quite right and they aren't doing the same thing that some large, well known, 2 letters, both vowels (you get the idea) conglomerate do - they try to make this game the best they can do, rather than just make a quick penny and dump it for the next project.

I think I met Wrangler on last FanFest .. or some other high level ISD person. He was cool and we talked alot of EVE but he never told me his main char .. althou I asked only once

Wrangler forgot to mention all the Dev's and Gm's are required to have an active account.
As for that rumor of them being in BoB...It started back in 2003 when m0o was the chosen few, they were damn good, so good that people who lost to them, started to accuse them of being mods,dev's, and GM's

Haha, the devs aren't in BoB. They're just making you think that so you won't know where they actually are: Phoenix Alliance.
That's the reason there are so many unfixed bugs: They're too busy trying to reform their dead alliance after they went too far in making people think that PA couldn't possibly be the dev-controlled org.
How do I know this? Let's just say I'm probably not gonna wake up in the morning

I have 4 player accounts but tend to have the most fun on the youngest character. I can fly all manner of ships and generally participate in most aspects of the game. My father also plays EVE and I try to make sure he doesn't fit his ships like a noob.
