With the Kronos release being published on June 3rd we are rebalancing a huge amount of ships and modules and introducing new items and ships. Freighters/jump freighters are receiving three low slots, pirate faction ships receive a full rebalancing, mining barge and exhumers are reworked, deep space transporters much improved and and and ... the result is a new exciting ship and module landscape with many great opportunities.

Yes indeed! We discussed that in the drone section of this blog instead of the module section, so it would have been easy to miss.

How about some low/mid slot modules that affect missile explosion velocity, explosion radius, velocity, and flight time?
I would like to one day be able to fit something besides riggors or bay thrusters in my missile ship rig slots and something besides Damage mods and a Damage Control in the lows. Those are really the only options for missile ships and what is fitted to 90% of all PvE AND PvP shield tanked missile ships. That awkward moment at the Gentlemen's Club when you see your sister on the stage....and you're not sure where to put the money.... |

Yes they are correct. Effective tracking is calculated from the combination of the trackingSpeed attribute and the optimalSigRadius attribute. We increased the optimalSigRadius (signature resolution) on the fighters from 125 to 400 so we adjusted the tracking accordingly. 400 .. seems odd that fighters being cruiser sized uses battleship sig all of a sudden?? Tech 3's need to be multi role ships not cruiser hulls with battleship tank and insane resists ABC's are clearly T2 in all but name.. remove drone assist mechanic. Nerf web strength ..... module tiercide FTW role based instead of tiers please. |

I'm impressed with the amount of work you guys at ccp are putting into Kronos! I look forward to seeing what you do in the next release.
However, recently I feel like things some things have been added/changed but they don't feel finished or as good as they could be. For example, the mobile deployables were a great concept IMO but the rules built into them severely limit their uses, making them effectively useless. The first few rounds of ship balancing has done wonder for the game but for the battleships at least, the changes didn't go far enough. The one thing attack battleships have going for them is that they can us MJDs and Target spectrum breakers (another mod that needs "fixing") but in the case of the MJD, battle cruisers are going to be able to use them.
Allowing battle cruisers to use an micro jump drive is a good move but iIMO, giving them the same 100km jump range as the battleship version is a mistake. It basically makes it a GTFO or sniper tool. If things get iterated on quickly that's fine but if not and they need it, it could lead to the old situation were parts of the game felt neglected (see bounty system, war decs, low sec, etc.)... Maybe new items and features should be put on the server far sooner so that they are practically perfect by the time they go live. 
I wish you the best of luck in whatever you guys to do in the future, i just hope that all your hard work is worth it in the end and Eve becomes the game it has the potential to be.

You will be waiting a long time for the next expansion since this is the last one they do. Things are changing after this expansion to have rolling "releases" every 6 weeks, so they are likely going to be much smaller in scale and scope compared to this one.
Crius might be the exception given they are delaying part of what was slated for this expansion to the next release. |

They are essentially a capital class weapon however. With the new tracking and speed and increased damage, this should help balance against them being small ship **** machines. |

While I love pretty much all of the new changes, I just don't know about the Guristas changes, was really hoping to start using the Gila instead of the Ishtar with the new Moa hull... but with such a small drone bay it is just not going to work at all. ohh well, at least it will look pretty in my hanger now. |

Isn't that true of all T2 ships? Except for cost, why would you fly a Covetor over a Hulk? Or a Caracal over a Cerberus? or a Vexor Over an Ishtar...etc..etc... That awkward moment at the Gentlemen's Club when you see your sister on the stage....and you're not sure where to put the money.... |

Eve is about having you to make choices...not having the choice made for you. While there are other examples of this, as you mentioned above, that does not change the spirit of what CCP is trying to accomplish. I would be severely surprised if Fozzie came in here to correct this opinion of mine...every ship in eve needs a valid purpose, or 'choice', that a player would use to his advantage.
