Originally by: Tuxford ECM icons Well as far as I can tell all the ecm - multispectral types have changed their graphical icons. I can't tell you why this was done but I can tell you that this will be reverted.
Tuxford, may I suggest that CCP add tags or colours to racial ECM icons so that we don't have to mouse over the module to see what type it is on the battlefield? For instance, a green crosshair for Gallente, blue for Caldari, red for Minmatar, Yellow for Amarr, or something like that. I will file a official feature suggestion but if this could be done it'd make things worlds easier.

Drone missions have returned to normal (doing one now)
as for te other missons will have to wait and see?
Well Done CPP for either realizing there was a mistake or responding to the outcry against the changes (with out public annoucment) If you intend to redo the changes at some point can we have a bit of addvanced warning first:)
There's no such thing as madness, just diffrent degrees of normality.

So the mission have been put back the way they were before the patch? But CCP still intends to implement them with Kali?
Do you know what that will do? You will loose alot of RL isk by doing this.
Eve-online was ment to be a PvP game... CCP added a solo aspect to the game... Mission running is a PVE aspect of the game...
Those solo and PvE players are not playing Eve-online to PVP or have you not figured that out yet? Doing what was an oooops to soon...just told hundreds of NON-PvP players what to look foward too.
You really need to rethink your future plans.....
This is as bad as it can get, but don't bet on it. |

just wanna say 1 thing.
i myself dont see a real big issue with making lvl 4 missions harder becouse if you can do a missions afk then you know there is something wrong.
and if you say you cant do it alone well get a friend to join you and you can do missions together 1 agent at a time so you can both build up standings there thats fixed.
and please dont go making wild acusations saying if they do this it wont be good for them and they will loose money on it becouse that is just so wrong.
and we should know by now that there are always unforseen hickups wich wotn eb seen as they cant go thru all the lines of the full program with each minor change they make, if 1 person has posted it in a thread there is no need to do it 10 times after that person has already pointed it out. It should not be to hard for a person to actually read whats been posted before he/she decides to make a post in that same thread.

I dont know any mission that I can do AFK and I¦m doing missions for a long time now. Its also ver y much fun to do them in a small team. I dont care about the ISK in missions, I have more use of the loot, be it usefull or not cuz I refine what I cant use/sell. The additional ISK from bountys is just a small bonus. But enough offtopic.

Edited by: Lucre on 21/06/2006 14:31:04 Just to be different, as noted on the mining forum, one of the unspoken features of this patch (should we call it a "stealth un-nerf"? ) is the long-awaited fixing of mining foreman/laser optimization links.
We discovered last night - after much frustration in that they appeared to have suddenly stopped giving yield bonuses! - that they now reduce the cycle time for mining lasers - a full 21% reduction with Sqn Cmd 4 and a mindlink.
Issues though: a) Mindlink implants still don't give the 15% mining bonus to own mining that they say they do. b) The text for laser optimization links still states they give a bonus to yield, not the new reduction in cycle time. c) Changes like this should really be in the patch notes...

It¦s 70% kin and 80% therm when i¦m inspace. Also when i activate an invul for exapmle the other resiatnces don¦t show any difference
EDIT: tested it with anonther hardener. When using an EM hardener it¦s fine 50% em resistance. Only when using an invul it seems buggy.

1. Lag is simply unacceptable. After 3 re-logins stil need about 2 min to reload my guns and 3 min to lock even BS in my frig.
2. What's up with missions? Didn't you screwed missions runners enough already? Not cool.
3. Patch sucks because I hate stealth nerf. -------------------------

Dont ask me...I aint the one going to nerf level four missions and make them pay out so crappy. Personally I hated mission for a long time.
They took to many miners from belt, the loot droped is far better then player made, and ISK rewards. Not to mention useing tech II components as mission rewards, then removeing them really was a bad move....
This is as bad as it can get, but don't bet on it. |

I find this highly amusing...
CCP massively pre-nerfs Command Ships (esp. Nighthawk): Only a few complaints.
CCP massively nerfs market, after supposed exploit is closed: Only a few complaints.
CCP fairly nerfs lvl4's: The forums collapse under the weight of whining.

No mystery here. Try nerfing mining...

Oooo Kay, so I now have two implants instead of five.... seems anything above a +2 isn't showing up on the "My Character" page, any chance of getting that looked at. Secondly, with all the new changes to items, ships and skills any chance of a new datadrop from t20 or whoever now has that ball?

So are the mission changes on this patch intended or not? If not when can we see them go back to what they were? _______________

Meh, missions needed to be nerfed. Making 30mil an hour in empire is just too much even for lowsec.

And what if we don't want to? We all pay to play this game and if we want to hang around in empire running missions, well then thats what we'll do. Missions tend to be more fun then mining, and they also use a completely different skillset. And if everyone was forced out to 0.0 then there wouldn't be much out there to mine now would there?

Same. No improvement except after removing chatlogs from the chatlog folder for a brief hour or so until they clog up the channel switching again :/
